Aerial Service: Easy; planewhoring is the easiest thing in game. Just needs some practice. IF you aren't a great pilot you can fly a Fighter-Bomber (Su-30, Su-34 and F-15) and kill people with the uber-cheap Laser Missile.

The thing is, you must stay 15 min in the plane, this is the hardest part. I got mine in a Clean Sweep; I had a good pilot and ended 33 / 0, just had to let the USMC cap a flag so their ticket bleed stops.

Legion of Merit: Easy thing, just be a medic in Karkand or the BH pilot to collect 50 team points. When I got this ribbon, I got also the Vet. First Aid (pilot, healing ppl, and also capping flags).

The most misunderstood part is "8 death streak". It's 8 or MORE (global) death streak, not 8 or less.

War College: The hardest ribbon with no doubt. Maybe the hardest award. I had an horrible win/loss ratio (0.7 I guess); so I am having troubles with this ribbon.

From some point I decided to get this badge... I improved my Win/Loss ratio to 2.26; and now with 23 commander hours... I think I'll finally get it with 400 hs of gameplay..

        - You need to have 200h played
        - in your BFHQ you should see "best kill streak: 10" (or higher)
        - in your BFHQ you should see "worst dead streak: 8" (or higher)
--> now when you start a game, you should get 50 teamwork points, either by healing, reviving, supplying, assisting, capping, neutralizing...

        War college:
unpossible to get that 3:1 ration :-(

          Hard, but not impossible.

When I started playing I wasn't careful about winning or losing; so when I realized there was an award with this requirement my win/loss ratio 0.7...

I have been improving it since then, it's 2.26 now.

I never really went for the war college ribbon, I just hate losing so I play every round seriously and try to have as big of an impact as I can on the team. I guess it's harder for 1 person to make a big difference on 64 player maps but I play on 32 player maps only ever since I began and you can have a lot of influence on the outcome. At first when I didn't know the maps well I've only won a bit more than I lost but after you get familiar with the maps it's much easier to win.

yup, the legion of merit was easy, go to warlord and do your best to keep one half of the palace. throw all of your medic bags when you spawn, in the palace in the main 2nd and 3rd floor rooms. peoples cant help but pick them up. second, that hallway is a beast and either way its hard to get through so there will be plenty to revive. along with all that you can usually time it right, with some combat experience, and recapture the palace posts. good luck i got it on my first try along with the 45 teampts. ribbon.

I was thinking of getting WCR ribbon but then asked myself - is it worth trying to get it ? All that ribbon does is show that particular player have been switching teams. It does not show real commanding skills nor any squad skills. The fact is you will never be able to join team, and essentually win that round everytime. Sure, you can get 2:1 win/loss ration by luck but not 3:1 (unless you play on your clan server with buddies exclusively).

Or is it worth to have that WCR in your sig to show off people what you went through ? Personally, Im far more impressed when I see people owning in the game itself than seeing badges, and ribbons on forums. Now that PlaneWhore video - that's real skill, and something to talk about unlike switching teams, and quitting your squad during the game because you need that win.
