The Aerial Service Ribbon is very,very simple to get. All you have to have is a joystick, and play in Operation Clean Sweep. I always get 1st when I play Operation Clean Sweep because the F-15 is the ultimate killer weapon. Not one time have I been shot down by an enemy aircraft in OCS before. The F-15 is a nightmare to all in the map. OCS has tons of tanks around. All you have to do is practise on your bombing, and you are guaranteed your Aerial Service Ribbon. You do not need to play in a 64p server. A 32p or even a 16p can get you your ribbon. All you gotta do is make sure that all your bombs hit. You will be your teams' saviuor and your enemy's worst nightmare. I killed a person so many times once that he decided to change to my team... The F-15 is also a good aerial fighter. It can beat the Su-34 like nothing.

It's all well and good being a good commander. Your right you can easily control the game if you are a skilled commander, but as you probably well know it only takes 1 or 2 noobs teamkilling for planes and helis. Then everything starts to go wrong. You end up with team mates fighting each other and destroying usefull vehicles just to get back at each other.
The commander aspect of battlefield 2 is amazing. It's just a shame that it is so hard to get people to follow orders most of the time. Most of the people running around on public servers are only interested in their personal score, they never take flags or defend or make squads. They just lie in the grass somewhere zoomed in on a spawn point waiting for those easy kills.

I sometimes wish DICE added a system where squad members would get bonus points for listening to their squad leaders and squad leaders also getting points when listening to their commander.

ya no kidding I thought it was max of 8 for the longest time.

I just got my WCR yesterday! woot! wcr is something your not gonna get just playing the game, you have to specifically make a plan to get it. choose servers you know you have a better chance of winning on and keep track of your wins/losses. It took me about 10 weeks of careful playing to get this, always having to choose a server carefully, and not playing when your too tired. :|:
plus the fact I didnt start trying to it until i had like 20k + global points

getting the 50hrs command can be boring has hell. I suggest as you command also go for time on the other badges. I needed sniper hours (for vet sniper), so as command I played sniper.

congrats on that WCR. I gave up on it lol. Not worth, like you said, 10 weeks of playing and planning to get.

Well i just wanted to say. To get the legion of merit ribbon sucked for me. For the longest time, I had a death streak of 6. Then it became 7 one time when I once again realized why I hate bombers in a map and your last spawn point is right next to the air field. But the sad thing is, I had to actually purposely get killed 8 times in a row to get that 8 death streak requirement. Talk about sucky! It would still be at 7 if it wasn't for that req!

u need the to try the war college ribbon as soon as u`ve reached the needed hoirs played. ... if u do like i did, youll never get it.
id need to win about 3000 games in a row now to get it

The simplest way to get the WCR that I can see is to only play on servers without autobalance, and always switch to the winning team. That'd work, wouldn't it?

leigon of merit = easy, just be a blackhawk pilot on mashtur for a round, SO EASY!!!

I've gotten Legion of Merit just playing as Support while capping flags.
I always thought it was a maximum death streak of 8 but turns out that's not true ...

if the only object for the war college ribbon is to 3 :1 win loss ration . is to start out as fresh login like triggerhappy2005 said or go down to a 16 player maps where maps are small and the rounds dont last as long and get on the good team. and keep winning . On average i play the 32 player maps it takes on average 10-20 minutes a round so that about 3-6 game an hour. if you play 16 player maps your maps could end in 5-10 minutes which leaves you with about 6-12 games an hour.

I could be wrong about this but it might actually work???? but you better hope that your good becasue the guys that play small maps are just as good as guys who play in the medium to large maps!!

well you also need 50hrs of command, so even with a new acct, map size isnt that important. I prefered the 32 player maps. 16 player maps seemed too short to turn a game around if your team is losing.

Legion of merit---->IAR: 50 team points ---->Global: 200 Total time played---->Global: 10 Best kill streak ---->Global: 8 Worst death streak ....My question is this... are you required to have completed all the global stuff first and THEN get the 50 pts?? Basically, if i get 50 team pts, 10 best kill and 8 worst death streaks all in one night...is it just a matter of playing until i get the 200 hrs?

you have to have all the global stuff completed, and then get the IAR (in a round) last.
