War College ribbon & Legion of merit ?????'s

I have 3 ribbons to go;

Arial service -

IAR: 15 minutes in an Airplane
IAR: 19 kills in an Airplane

Legion of merit -

IAR: 50 team points
Global: 200 Total time played
Global: 10 Best kill streak
Global: 8 Worst death streak

War College-

IAR: 45 Commander Points (before 2x)
Global: 50 Total time as commander
Global: 3 win:loss ratio

Planes a no brainer but other 2 have me worried.

Legion of merit - is that 10 kill streak in one round plus no more than 8 death streak IAR ????? I hope. It says Global ????

I already have a 14 overall record death streak so I am really hoping that it's not your all-time death streak. In other words Legion of merit holders never play after a night out with a few too many in them.

Anything on this would be great.

War College - How the frick could they expect 3:1 ratio with the needed playing hours. I am barely below 1:1 thanks to auto-balance. Always seem to join the losing team mid game since people don;t quit the winning one as often.

The law of averages makes maintaining 3:1 just impossible outside of cheating, padding. Just no way. I see people with high globals and 2:1 and I'm immediatelt suspicious. Skill is one thing and I'm no slouch with plenty of bronz/silver/golds.. But you have no control over how many morons are on your team.

Well I searched on War college not Legion and my thread created 5 threads for Legion of Merit so I know now that it's minimum of 8 streak <sigh of relief>.

But the 3:1 war college question stands.

The War College is impossible, 2:1 is hard enough...

They totally noobefied the ranks and awards cept for this one, EA keeps surprising me, i take it they just forget about this one...

I only need War college. And **** am I going to be commander for 50 hours let alone get my wins higher than 3.

yea i just need the war college and the legion of merit. I laughed when i saw the 3:1 win loss ratio...I mean you might be able to do that in the very beginning when you first start out...but by the time you get the 50 hours...haha yea right. I gave up on it, not worth my trouble. I just need the legion of merit one, which i have all the reqs for, just can never get to the 50 team points....got to 48 once but the game ended...man that was annoying lol

Its very possible to get. Get 2 or 3 skilled friends on TS and play small maps nonstop. 3 good players on a 16 man map\server can make all the difference between win and loss. Its possible without cheating just like expert knife is possible and just like expert C4 is possible you just have to have a little problem solving skill. I got mine after having played 200 hrs.

Yea I have the same problem... I currently am 1:1 give or take 4 at any time now, I have my 50 hours, but I will need to win the next 600 rounds to attain a 3:1 average....waste of time

be the commander its the best chance of the kill and death streak
once you have it in the next round go for the 50 team points.
i just need the war college ribbon need 3 to 1 kill or win ratio

i don't have the aerial service ribbon but i'm going to devote all my BF2 playing time starting next week to get *decent* at jets. just good enough to rack up those 19 kills.

You can't get it playing @ Raw! West Coast can you now r0uJe :-P Good luck with the aerial service. I racked up a ton of TK's getting that one.. mostly because of dumbasses who think they're entitled to anything that flies and protest your being in the plane by crawling all over it while you take off.. and of course they punish.

Yeah, for legion of merit, I actually did a points test for teamwork;

Revive - 2 pts
Capture - 2 points [ 1 for assist ]
Neutralize -2 pts [ 1 for assist ]
Repair - 1 point - it's hard enough to get 5 points in a game
Team kill - -2 points
Supply - 1 pt
Heal - 1 pt


So the trick is; Medic and be a flag grabber IMO

Next project, almost got it last night.

Need a big map with lotsa flags and only a few players. Like 16 on a 32 or 64 !!!!

Legion of Merit is pretty simple. Just play a big karkand server, and be a medic, I got 77 teamwork points the first time I tried. I'm so quick on the draw for the defibs, and dive-reviving.

The secret to getting the WCR is to start with a fresh account and be a really good commander. You'd be surprised how much control a good commander has over a match.
