Than why call the people who are about to cap the flags n00bs? If your team relies on one person to defend a flag by placing C4 on it, than your opponents arent the n00bs.

Its a victory taunt. I'm rubbing it in. I don't actually think they are noobs. Well.....some of them are though.

i don't really know. It might not since the artillery isn't actually being destroyed. the trick is to place your C4 so it kills the bad guy, but doesn't hurt your arty that much.

Hmmmm, booby trapping a flag with C4....probably effective I am sure but I wouldnt want to be the guy that has to wait a round for someone to show up so I can blow them up, boringgggggggg. And if nobody shows up you didnt help your team much did you.

Personally I enjoy booby trapping vehicles such as Tanks & APCs

Do this by either planting a mine on top, OR if the vehicle hasn't respawned yet -- plant the mine where the vehicle will spawn. And the scary thing is, if its something attractive like a tank -- it ALWAYS works

Just have to watch out for TKs though ><

Well not really. Especially when your guarding a strategically important flag. Like on Mashtuur City for instance. The backyard is a key flag to take which would enable a team to tip the balance of power once captured.
I've had more than my share of fun boobytrapping that flag.
Trust me, you don't have to wait long for a no...erm I mean an honorable and formidable opponent to come running along.

I'm a big flag C4 trap setter myself. Suburbs on Karkand is a great one -- seeing guys come up over the hill and then waiting for them to get to the flag or wasting them with the mounted PK.

Another thing I like to do is to C4 my own artillery -- just one packet or place the packets between each gun. When enemy SpecOps show up to destroy it, BAM -- I bet they whine like little bitches.

Dont you get team damage for that? I would love to do that once tho, claymores dont seem to work very well.

Blowing up the flag...that's the best you can come up with...that's sooooo 5 minutes ago.

At least if you're going to do that...get a crate....and drop about 30 or so c4 all over the flag and sit and wait. Geezz so unoriginal.

If you're the commander just drop the crate by the enemy and when they go to it drop the arty.

I plant C4 sometimes, but I hide it in bushes, in debris... only if I MUST I will lay it in the open.

Anyone who DEFENDS a flag rather than capping and deserting it deserves credit. I'm sick of people who cap it and run away to the next one, only to let the enemy take control 10 seconds later. You sound like one of those people.

I defend with C4; it's what I do. I pick a flag and stick with it the entire game.

You need to calm down and open your eyes a bit, "Da" Sniper.
