So whats ya favorite tactic?

My favorite tactic is to hide far away but within a clear line of sight of a flag. Then plant c4 around the flag or places near the flag allllllll over the place and out of site.
THEN,
I would wait patiently....for a whole round sometimes....for a bunch of noobs to try to take the flag. I usually wait several seconds while several of the enemy gather and reinforce the area. Even if it means a few of my buddies get shot I would wait. Our flag would be heading down the pole which would increase their confidence. Then more of their buddies show up and they get even more relaxed and overconfident. Then an entire enemy regiment shows up and say "awww nevermind people. They got it!". And as the flag is about to be taken and alot of them are just shootin the breeze and gettin some R n R...writing letters to their loved overseas and whatnot................

Run as fast as I can to an area of high enemy concentration. Peek around a corner... Get killed, wait 15 seconds, repeat.

Isnt a prefered method but it is one that I have aparently perfected

You're calling people n00bs for completing the objective (catching flags), and trying to win the game?...While you just camp and don't even attempt to save your teammates who are getting shot. You should be the last person calling people n00bs, n00b.

depending on the situation man, most of the time, I rush and rush, sometimes wait and wait, sometimes both

i identify the most attacked flag on each map then set c4 traps...i aint no noob who just throws it on the floor that only means i kill noobs...not the more smarter people...planting on walls...sandbags etc where the packs wont be seen is what i do...then as you said boom

Those guys are on my team and they all agree that my tactic is sound. They willingly give their lives n defense of the flag while making sure not to give away my position. If they fail, I'm the last resort. Our defensive strategy usually works. Commanders usually end up relying on us to hold certain key flags on a map.
At the end of the day we can proudly say..."We held!"

Than why call the people who are about to cap the flags n00bs? If your team relies on one person to defend a flag by placing C4 on it, than your opponents arent the n00bs.

Blowing up the flag...that's the best you can come up with...that's sooooo 5 minutes ago.

At least if you're going to do that...get a crate....and drop about 30 or so c4 all over the flag and sit and wait. Geezz so unoriginal.

I'm a big flag C4 trap setter myself. Suburbs on Karkand is a great one -- seeing guys come up over the hill and then waiting for them to get to the flag or wasting them with the mounted PK.

Another thing I like to do is to C4 my own artillery -- just one packet or place the packets between each gun. When enemy SpecOps show up to destroy it, BAM -- I bet they whine like little bitches.
