Please help me !!! how do you manage to keep your missus happy whilst on the PC, if im on for more that 5 minutes (not paying her any attention) she goes off on one !

Buy her a Nintendo DS, Zoo Keeper, Nintendogs, and Meteos. I never hear a peep out of our lass now :)

OT tho, BF2 is a complicated game, as in it has tons of controls to remember and strategies for different kits ect ect. Most Wimmin don't play video games or have never played them at all. BF2 just looks too daunting for them.

My wife plays the "Can you come here?" "Can you pay attention?" "I need your help with this" game.

Almost as soon as I start playing.. You'll hear 1 if not all 3 of those within the loading screen.

Ah the joys of bachelorhood..
Had vacation last week and I clocked 52hrs on BF2
I do feel for you lads.. My last gf got bored inside of five minutes of me going to play my puter.. Seconds later she'd be rustling my hair, nagging about housework or me not paying attention to her or some other equally valid point..
She didnt play games but spent alot of time on IRC and MSN or browsing through chicksites (on my computer at that!).
Needless to say she had to go

I wish i had the option of going back to being a bachelor but were avin a baby!!!!!!!!!!! hope its a lad, then il have a buddy to play bf2 with when they release BF:2035 hahaha, any women in the forum? reading this?, any tips on how to stop the nagging?????

my fiancee got her nick and her first BF2 tutorial yesterday. I hope to have her playing in a couple of days.

if you get killed or kill a person by the name of "Rub_My_Puffy" that's her.

she does not mind in the slightest me playing BF2.

The interaction my wife has with me while I'm playing BF2 is to storm in and complain when:

a) artillery is falling around me (which is often)
and
b) when I'm firing the turret gun in a jeep or tank

She hates those sounds.

Oh...and she hates the 'sailor mouth' I get too She's afraid the baby will pick up a few bad words ... oopsie!

The only games we play together are adventure games (oh...why are there no more Gabriel Knight games?) .. we're currently trying out Indigo Prophecy but unfortunately the 'adventure genre' these days for some reason feels compelled to contain twitch elements..grrr.

My wife is tolerant of me playing. She has problems w/ my MoH games on PS2, and that kind of thing. Anything where the object of the game is to kill someone/something.

For the most part she doesnt nag at me or anything when I play BF2, but I have had a few times where I was playing w/ the headphones on, and she would be trying to talk to me, and I obviously couldnt hear her. But she lives w/ it. She got a real funny look last week, when I told her that I had played the game like 55 hours so far. She just doesnt understand.

My wife hates my games, she used to like the snowboard games on playstation but that was a long time ago, now we have a 2 month old. she hates killing peps and thinks im inmature for playing games. She is cool though i guess i will keep her, after all she did buy BF2 for me the day it came out....hehe.

You dont know how lucky you are mate, i wish my missus didnt mind, even thinkin of movin out hahahha has your fiancee got any more bf2 luvin friends lol.

With the hours i work and not much free time to myself, she probably thinks 10 minutes here and there is plenty!!!!!!!!!!!! no words can describe how p'eed off i feel!!!!!!!, i think we need to go on Jrry Springer or summat!

My gf would never touch BF2, she only likes Athens 2004 (track and field)! She also thinks playing on a computer is stupid, but she has no prob with me playin them!

What I don't understand: we often play paintball, she loves it and she RULZ!!! Unbelievable, headshot after headshot! 1 on 1, against her, don't try it, I tell you!! LMAO

Well, i just ad a chat with "her" and she's agreed to give it a try tonight hahahahaha, miracle!!!!

Probably just put her on an Empty Server or summat to begin cos she's useless with the Keyb/Mouse Controls hahaha, i tried her on UT2003 t'other day, funny stuff a tell thee.

With a bit of luck she'll be piloting Raptors by Friday lol, il let you know
