I played 1942, was good at it... BFV, couldnt handle the choppers until BF2 came out..

Not being big headed, but i am good at BF2, nearly always Top

Hopefully this doesn't come across as a whine-thread, it's not my intention. More, advice seeing, I feel, cos, I gotta be doing something wrong.

I use to rule at BF1942. Was pretty damn good at BFV as well. For some reason, BF2 keeps owning me. Generally the ranked servers. Unranked doesn't seem to be so bad. I'm guessing therefore that on the ranked servers is where one is going to meet 99% of the decent players, although I could be wrong.

I've read in some threads about people hitting others a good couple of times, only to get one shot back that kills them. Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but it keeps happening to me time and time and time again. I don't think it's recoil. I keep that damn thing on the guy the whole time. Doesn't matter if i'm prone, crouching or not. Doesn't matter if I initiate the firefight or not. 8 times out of 10, I come out the loser, and I don't know why...

Any advice? My stats show the whole story (Kanuna). It's just awful! :)

Anyway, rant/whine out, any constructive criticism is most welcome.

If it is relly your account than there is nothing special about your stats. You just have stared playing. I used to have less than 1 K/D ratio at the very beginning, now if I wouldnt have collected those badges I coud have 2-3 K/D easly.

I remember bf1942, and I remember kicking butt too. The first day i got bf2, I still kicked butt. Why? Because I play FPS's a lot, more than most games...I just know how to kill things very well . Not saying I am the greatest player in the world but better than some. I've been accused of cheating before, kicked out of servers before just because I was kicking butt. I have noticed though sometimes that there are people in the game that you just have to go hmmmmm to. One time i got killed buy the same guy 3 times in a row, he was at our spawn point and i would spawn, shoot him at least 3 times or more, then die because of him. I just had to wonder where all the health he had was coming from, he wasnt a medic, and there was no supply crate since they didn't even have a commander. He was also alone so...hmmm. Same with the other day when I was right behind a guy prone on the ground facing the oppisite way, and I mean i was standing on this guy. I fired about 10 shots into his back, and another 10 as he stood up, turned around, and shot me once killing me. Hmmm. so...advice wise...shoot and kill what you can. If there are 5 guys in the area...you might want to lay low as you are most likely going to die if you start shooting. Join a squad too, more guns with you helps a lot
