Is it worth installing? I only have GS installed at the moment and rarely use it for BF2.

I find it better than GS because it is a small program and it is more popular than GS. And it is easy to use and it doesn't get in your way. And its easy to see what games your friends play, and easy to join them. You can just minimize it and it won't bother you. Mine is on most of the time. If you ever get to install it, just add me. I used to be above average at DC, not the best but able to hold my own pretty well.

I bought BF2 and figured, since I allready knew DC, I'd have an advantage somewhere.. lol, was I wrong.. I kept getting splattered in the most obvious manners, wasn't used to the shell-shock effect, tanks I jumped in to turned into team-grinders as I nudged myself through the lines, and then into coffins as I'd allways get C4'd or taken out by an AT.

Like soda said, only experience and practice will get improvement :)

You need to be more patient. It takes more than 8 hours to get comfordable with the maps.

Well, I just had an excellent session with Soda. Still have lots to learn, but you guys are absolutely right. But am definately enjoying the whole experience more now.

I notice my skills are atrophing, that or everyone else is getting a whole lot better. I can seem to die less than 10 times anymore.
