There I was sniping prone on a roof (dragon valley I think). My friend walks up behind me, gets a nade out, decides to go for the headshot and shoots me in the back of the head from 20 ft. It didn't kill me, so I 'whip' round (must remember to increase mouse sensitivity), taking a further 2 shots to the grid in the process. Anyway I killed him with one shot and that was the end of that gaming session! I think I'd have refused to play with me from that point as well.

Yeah, the weird thing is that they can kill you with ONE shot. It's like the second they dive their weapon becomes 3 times as powerful.Comment

Actually, everything I have read states that a .22 is about the worst to get shot in the head with, as it has enough momentum to penetrate the skull but not enough mass to exit - which causes it to rattle around in your braincase like a blender.Originally posted by pastorjamesComment

I don't think the issue is whether a headshot is a 1 shot kill. The issue is more never missing the headshot. You say you can shoot me in the head with any weapon in the game and kill me? Try doing it right this very instant. I bet you'll miss.Comment

At 200m I want you to jump in the air as high as you can, now while in air lay down flat, Ok now right when you hit the ground pull the trigger and nail me in the head... now if you hit my head Ill die probably BUT if you dont hit my head or you miss completely you owe me 100 mil.Comment

not sure what it is about this game, but I am fairly new to the BF series...but I have killed and killed clanmates when it just doesnt make sense...they dont hear ALL the shots but the few that kill them...or just one even though I almost empty a full clip. Same thing goes for them, I will think its a BS kill, but, they say the same thing, they almost emptied an full clip, yet I only heard 4-5 shots from less than 50m.
I am also trying to figure out how jet fighters can easily pick off (guns) and bomb ground troops...this has been happening alot more lately than before.
I have been in a plane quite alot and I only see ground troops when its too late to bomb and gun (unless I saw them on a previous pass) Most ground troop kills are by luck, but there are some pilots who ALWAYS know where to bomb, even in the middle of nowhere. |ACE| clan tags come to mind, but I cannot remember the name.
This is not a bitch at good pilots, but I have noticed there are more pilots out there that can easily spot ground troops.Comment

I think the only weapons that kill you with one shot are some of the snipers and the ak101. Maybe the M16 but I have never got a 1 shot kill with it. I have been killed and gotten kills in one shot with the ak. OH and the US and China shottys.Comment
