While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
The thing is this could be one hell of an amazing game if they carried on fixing it think of the potential.If they do actually leave the game like this then their fools.

yeah, this game still kicks the crap outta alot of games but its almost as eqaully buggy...they should at least say they have plans for a patch so they dont make things worse...whos running EA/DICE?...Bush?

Last night I took off in the Z-10 helicopter from the Chinese airfield on Wake Island and was promptly shot down by teammates with Eryxes who wanted the chopper.
Hooray immersion.

First to all those who think EA didn’t make this game.... I suggest you go to the Credits part of the game and read the 20 minutes worth of credits before you make such accusations.....Also EA did in fact acquire DICE.....
Next-
The problem with the bugs is they are very random... Some people get them some people never get them...some people get them once and never again.... I think the nature of most of the bugs is what makes it hard for them to be fixed...
Finally-
The in game browser still sucks and WTF is with that stupid Message From EA....
EA has yet to pubically ACKNOWLEDGE that the patch is hosed. Thousands can NOT install or play. Im not talking bugs here, simply unable to install or connect to a server. I spent about 15 hours getting this POS installed and able to connect. I love this game, but they will not get any more of my money, and where i sit, i see 9 EA logos on my desk and entertainment center. They should have released a statement saying that they were at least aware of the issues and working on it or something.
Honestly i think they have no idea WHAT to do. They screwed this up sooooo bad that ignoring it is the best they can come up with. What can they say, we delayed the patch for 6 weeks so we could figure out how to screw as many people as possible. Sheesh.
Ok folks. While some (most?) are not having problems since the latest patch, they can go right ahead and purchase the expansion the second it hits the shelf.
For the rest of us, don't buy the expansion unless you have confirmation from gamers afterwards that the fixes you need are now in the game. Maybe if enough folks who are having problems don't buy the expansion EA/Dice (whoever) might fix these things THEY introduced after our purchase. Here I though I was being prudent in waiting until after the first couple of patches.
Still enjoying BF2 but my main problem since the patch is that my son can no longer play the game from his XP account (major pain). Might be their standard response, but in light of the encryption problem they ought to be more pro-active and definitely need to promise a quick fix. They are sitting on a cash-cow with the Battlefield series.
How though can you expect them to fix something which maybe isn't broken for the rest?
Is there another bug with the browser besides the problem when you select more than 6 filters?
Im not talking about the filters on the bottom. I only have 3 enabled, and have never had more than that. I used to be able to type a word in the top section under name or map, and it would search all of the found servers for matches. It doesnt do that any more. Whenever I type something into there, it comnes back with zero servers. The only way I can get it back to normal is to quit the game and reload it. I loved having it the other way becuase it made it so easy looking for a specific server or map. It isnt a game killer for me, and I still play the game, but it was something that worked and now doesnt after the patch. Even if they never fixed it, I would still play the game, but I would lose a little more respect for EA/Dice.
Well, whoever made this game, be it EA or DICE, should sure as hell support it.
Not only have they not fixed a lot of existing bugs, but they have added tons
of new ones including the most moronic thing i've ever seen in a game "EA Message"
which renders software like the allseeingeye useless.
