1. So you're saying people should be hindered because they excel at a certain aspect of the game? Why should I be punished, of all things, for being a good gunner and a good pilot?

2. Well, there's a surprise! Somebody who likes to fly jets, sticking up for flying jets! Amazing!

3. Funny, I don't recall seeing MANY pilots get above 50 points in an 'average' game. Cleansweep is an exception, because it relies on air-superiority, and the bombers are overkill.

If anything, jets need to be made FASTER, the throttle accel/decel time needs to be instantaneous, the ceiling RAISED, the bombs, missiles, and guns need to be MORE lethal. You should cringe when you hear airpower overhead.

1. If it is at a cost to the playing experiences of the majority then yes, despite their own perceived ability.

2. There are plenty of posts here where other classes and vehicles are defended by other classes. For instance Armour is liked by AT and Spec Ops players as it gives them something to do. Very few, if any, non pilot players actually seem to think jets add anything worthwhile to the game. In fact there are so many negative posts about air superiority in the game it is almost impossible to realistically or objectively deny it is an issue that needs resolving.

No, no, no Raptor, the writing in your sig was fine before, you just needed it to be clear that the person with the ridiculous K/D ratio was using a jet. Like I said, I'd just take the "|ccc||PlaneWhore" one and otherwise restore it to the way it was.

I belive its whaaaaaa I suck at the jets so I'm gonna bitch about it and hope it gets taken out the game day....

What has that to do with the planes ruining the gameplay with their constant spawnraping? It don't take a master pilot to do that...

The constant spawnraping with artillery is enough...

ok the thing is airpower is not that bad as u guys think. it's only powerful when the ground force is cooperative. once i was flying F35 on gulf of oman. i kept shooting down the enemy's jets and bombers. and i also went back for the jets that were trying to take off after the bombing. so after a few rounds of attacking, their pilots didnt even bother to get in the jets. but we still lost. cuz our team couldnt capture a single flag. the same thing happened once i was on mashtuur city. usually US wins on this map due to the power of blackhawk, but sometimes the ground force is so horrible that they can't hold anything. so what happened that time was all the ppl in my BH squad got like 140 or 160 points, and we still lost as USMC. we kept go back and forth capturing the flags, and the other ppl in our team kept losing them.

At last, some people who think like I do. I get so sick of being accused of base raping either as a sniper or SF...... Thats what these classes are there for....thats what they do in real life! If my team is getting the crap bombed out of it I always try to get into the airbase and slot the pilots, then at least my team gets breathing space. This even more relevant on dragon valley? where you slot/C4 the aircraft/crew and then try to cap the base....

So for those who whine about base raping - thats exactly what your aircraft are doing to the other base so live with it!

I think pilots are pathetic to be honest with you.
Was on server yesterday and you couldnt move because you was being bombed seen some of the most supicious kills aswell like when I was bombing about in my buggy going around a building nice and tight and all of sudden obviously out of nowhere and with 2milli seconds and the tighest shot ever I get killed by guess......a plane and the dodgy kills carried on.
If only we had some kind of defense like errmmm our own pilots!?But they're too busy riddling enemy infantry when they could be keeping enemy planes of our backs:|:

I hate jets and helos sometimes but its part of the game,just suck it up and learn how to combat them.
