EA is not capable of making a decent server browser..

even games that have been out for 6-7 years have better browsers..

BF2's browser is the worst I have ever seen... locks up, unresponsive,
inaccurate data, hit the wrong key at the wrong time and it will lockup
for a minute or more.. click on some filters, then try to go back to
original filters , you get no results..

horrible horrible browser..

My grandma could write a better one, and shes been dead for 12 years..

EA is not capable of making a decent server browser..

Not that I"m a fan of EA, but good God, why does everybody so ignorantly credit them for writing all the faulty code in this game? EA had nothing to do with the server browser; the game was developed and coded by DICE, not EA.

Sorry, Speedy. I'm not trying to pick on you personally; this is just a pet peeve of mine. :)

yeah I know... but correct me if Im wrong... but EA now owns the
majority of DICE...

so, yes I should have said DICE... but in the end its all the same..

BF2 was on the verge of being the greatest war sim fps of all time but
due to their time constraints they rushed it to market unfinished..
and to this day Battlefield 2 is still unfinished.

I have a lot problems with my browser just freezing up for 20 secs when i click a random server

That's not a "problem." That just indicates that the server is too busy at the moment to send back all the status data (players, scores, ping, etc.). (I'm sure that you have noticed by now that anytime you click on a server, it refreshes, right?)
