That does not work for me. I wish I could tell you it works, but it just does not!

I get an empty servers list sometimes when I have only two or three filters checked. I just keep checking and un-checking the filters options until I get something.

The only thing I can say is reinstall the 1.03 patch even though it's lame but try that then refer back to this thread. If you still get nothing then idk what to tell you man. It should be working i dont see why your sshould be any different from the others since we all have the same info...Unless you can report back here and tell us your filters you have selected OR the filters that usually works...Unless your just selecting and unselecting random filters....Let me know.

Question for Black Duck, are you unclicking the filters for small/medium/large maps as well? When I first tried it, I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working and realized I was being a moron.

Maybe I missed something, but how is this a FIX? "Don't select more than six filters.." Sounds like more of a work-around to me.

Thanks guys for the help. When I made the post I was 100% sure that I chose something like only 4 filters... and it did not work.

When I launched the game now to get back to you then guess what! when I choose 6 filters or less it always works! I cannot repeat that problem.

For now let me assume that I was sleep walking! If I can repeat that bug I will let you know about the details.

ehm where's the fix then?

also for me it wont show any servers if I just have 4 boxes checked. like only big maps, punkbuster, same version only and not full or populated. I have to randomly click like a maniac to get it list any servers. and sometimes when it does list it only shows like 300 sometimes.

i never noticed that i just use the rank and same version filter mostly sometimes battle cammo and recorder

I have noticed searching for a string, and then clearing the search
field that nothing shows up.. no matter how many times I hit refresh,
update list, or apply filters, it just wont go back to giving you a list..
I have had to restart the game numerous times because of this..

The whole server browser is junk.. its like they spent 10 mins on
developing it.. my grandma could have written a better one, and
shes been dead for 12 years..

The patch fixed a few things, and overall Im satisfied with it, but
one thing it DID NOT fix is the horrible, inaccurate, unresponsive
server browser.. its total junk.

Mine seems to be the "not full" box.

When unchecked I can put "mas" in the map filter and get all Maushtuar servers.

Any other check box doesn't seem to make a difference.

Speaking of fixes for server browsers has anyone figured out a way to disable the 'Message From EA' popup so ASE and XFire can work again?

Yeah what he said, anyone got a fix for the "join server" xfire problem? Ive done what xfire site said, but i think its what he said, that the EA message popup screws everything.

WOW THIS GUY HIT IT ON THE NOSE! This is the worse problem i have found when i search for a string of characters. No matter what i click or unclick or delete or whatever menu i go in, NOTHING COMES UP. So my "workaround" is that I have to restart the game and NEVER use the search name box again.

No it doesn't. It isn't even a pop-up, you don't have to click on it.

Go to the xfire forums if you can't get the fix to work.
