As for the rest the browser blows also for searching on names try using a wildcard for those who don't know (%) key usually is the wildcard. Try putting that before w/e field you type in and see if that effects anything.

For those who the filter tip does not work for sorry you gotta be doing something wrong b/c we all have the same version same patch I don't see any variables coming into that equation.

Unselect all of your norm filters select 6 random ones see if that works...If so then slowly 1 by one 1 replace the random filters with the ones you want and hopefully that should get it working.

If not then sorry don't know what to tell you the thing is messed up anyways so I don't have anything further.

pick less than 7 servers, and YEP it works. Still dont have a fix for when you use the search string for server names.

              Okie doke try this.

For the server names try using a wildcard (%) for those who don't know. I remember someone posting something like that before while searching the forums **Credit for whoever posted it if it works** but give that a try i'm at work right now so I really can't do that :/

try a wildcard then like %a %h so on and so forth and see if that works. Basically the whole browser has problems but....There are bugs and workarounds in the system that hopefully work for most. Try that and post back here and we'll go ahead and follow up on this once we get more feedback.

Ill give % for a wildcard a try, but i though * was always the wildcard in any search engine?

It can be both just really deps on the program. Give both a try and see what happens.

% is commonly used as a wildcard in SQL, a database query.
                        * is a common wildcard for shells, regular expressions, etc.

just use ASE. You'll never have that problem again.
