i have to admit, the PKM seems more accurate. yes, i hate it that everybody got the unlocks cuz now all of the n00bs are using the g36c only now, or the m95. and they suck at it too
Yeah i know what you mean, the new support gun (Pkm like you said right?) is alot better but the ammo capacity is ****e! weird thing is, out of all the guns in BF2 the medics M4 seems to be the most reliable, the assault have the M16 (I think) but seems to have more recoil and less accuracy having only been better due to the M203 grenade launcher. M4 seems accurate, average power and a decent ammo capacity. for some reason it seems more accurate out of ironsites XD
I just play my first game after installed the patch and I joined a Karkand map...
Then I spawn and AAAAHHHH, it's being a little bit too realist, I see a guy and he shoot 2 round of his L85 and im dead.
A guys bunny-hopped close to me and 2 pistol shot, im dead.
Then I picked out my PKM and shot a SINGLE on someone and he's dead (the guys just spawned)
so what the hell ? I know it's realist but it's just getting gay.
Ok man, Buy me a G36, L85A1 and all the other guns you wanna bitch about. Ill shoot you with it and we'll count how many shots it takes to take you down (ps it would be 1 or 2 tops belive me )
Its a g36 fest now, I watched the killscores and nothing but g36
well i love my g36, heck I think its overused for a reason. Since I unlocked my ratios have gotten way better and im not worrying about charging at enemies anymore, and 80% of the time get the kill, and you can easily pick off people on single shot standing.
I hate G36c. Carbine that is more accurate than a sniper rifle? And guns miss that suppressing. I want that if I spray 200 bullets at someone he won't be able to move from that foxhole for 2 minutes.Fear and wee in pants and all.
I do think M95 should a bit more accurate. Not to help the sniper noobs bu snipers are meant to snipe from distances. Should be able to hit everytime from 260m-300m. Dont know about 1 shot kill though that might be overkill
The problem is this...They've completely ruined the novelty of having/getting the unlocks.
My time played is probably average to below average...I was just on my way to 5000 GS before the patch and happy as all hell to get my 2nd unlock.
Add to that the fact that not EVERYONE had their second as well.
After the patch I got 2 more and many many people got 2 and 3 more.
This has seriousy affected the balance of gameplay.
I meak for gods sake, corporal went from 5000 points to friggin 800!!
Any looser can get 800 points and their s 2nd unlock in a week!!
That's friggin GAY. Totally ruins the excitement and the hard work to get an unlock.
I don't even mind the ranking change but they should have left the unlocks spread out more and left the last couple for the high end ranks.
Now it's just a n00b fest of unlocks running around.
People who would have never went to a particular class in an emergency (anti-tank for ex) because they didn't want to get stuck if they didn't have the shotgun, now have no problem.
The gameplay balance has severely been effected and all the people who worked hard for their second and third unlocks are getting it up their a$$ because now it only takes 2500 points for the third unlock.
GAYGAYGAY.
all the weapons are too weak and boring. i can empty full clips into people and they live. sniper rifles are stupidly innacurate. and to top it off you don't even know if you hit anyone as there is no blood. this is why i only ever fly in planes because it is actually fun and you know if you hit someone. there is not much point in bothering to play bf2 if you are not in a vehicle i think.
to quote myself, with a post that i made a few days ago about the new ranks and unlocks/weapons. i think would apply here fairly well.
i like everything that it has introduced, but... i like the idea that the rank requirement points were lowered, but i think they were lowered TOO far... now all you see is people with sergeant ranks and up... having a high rank used to be like having super powers cuz you had weapons that noone else had... and now everyone has them...
