hey SaladFork i did what you said in the first post and it work and i was happy. i then join a server to find out that i dont have any weapons unlocked anymore, and in BFHQ it shows all the weapons locked. know any ideas on what i should do?

I'm going to leave your post here so that the idiot minority will use it and get banned from all my favourite servers, then I can play with people who do not have the intellectual capacity of a vegetable. :)

They must not pay attention if most of the top 20 players do it...

i.e., Sgt_MaxPower does it... hes the 5th ranked player in the world...

Yes, delete the things between the quotes, and the prefix will go away completely.

what happens when my TPM prefix is not between the quotes is there any other way of deleting my prefix,as i dont want to start a new charrater as SAF.ShIpWrEcK.

TPM is part of your username, and not part of your prefix. It is impossible to make any changes to your username, at this time.

You could do SAF TPM-SHIPWRECK, bit that's still a moot point.

Don;t mean to sound negative here but whats the whole point. I;ve palyed around alot with this. Why do the GlobalCon thing when all you gotta do is just type your 5 digits into the prefix area. Unless you are just saying that this will keep you from having to do this repeatedly and your method saves it.
I have the misfortune of having a pretty decent Rank with my clan tag included.
I just left the Basically inactive clan, so now I have to start a new Profile. Then if I want to join a clan and add a new tag most have stupid tags like...

All of the "§" Codes are glitches in the game and they can be very easily fixed, assuming that the "§" Codes came from a cheat site for the game that i am not going to realize the name. Now if you will continue to use these "Cheat Glitches" Punkbuster will soon be on your tail once they realise a update. maybe getting you CD key banned, if you are using these codes the admins on the servers are more likely to ban you first....

Ask yourself a question is it worth forking out some more cash just beacuse of a lame glich that can make your name bigger!?:hmm: .

And please don't go on about that name changing con. file !!:hmm:

Did you even read the first post? Not all characters can be typed into the ingame prefix box, this is the only way to use certain characters in your prefix.

Might want to add, I've noticed on a lot of server, if you are first, and your prefix is made out of characters that are not allowed in the prefix box however have been applied to your name, you name will not show up. In some cases I have seen the top 3 names not show up because the person who had gold and a unique prefix.

eg. $ will not show.

Most Servers Have Blocked "§" From Being in your name prefix, i did try the "§" Code once and i got banned from my fav server.
