Re: DOD: Source <A Review>

Wow ...ranking in games is soo much fun isnt it??? BOooooring ..sorry but its the truth...I dont spend my time ranking...thatz for people who wanna show off thier E-penises..Oh look at me ..Im a rank higher than u...I PWN...watever!!

I stopped playing BF2 ..stupid peashooter unbalanced ..bland and boring arcadish game ..with ****-poor support ...*raises finger to EA/Dice* Now I throughly enjoy DOD source ...I dont have to waste most of my life trying to rank and all that crap..I can jus shoot people and beat some stress from my work...

The gameplay is the same..wat do u expect ?? its a remake?? It cost $18 .. U know there is nothing that ****es me off most when people are soo ignorant that they just join a fanboy-hater flame club and start bashing a game. Like people said "ZOMG charlie & the chocolate factory sucks..the old one is soo much better"..little did they know it wasn't a remake of the old movie but totally based on the book.

Graphically DoD source kicks battlefield 2....Its got HDR ...it enhances the visual quality ..really adds to the whole feel of the game. Whereas BF2 ..is bland & boring to look at..resource hungry like hell and those shadows are still not fixed EA/Dice *finger again*

So...2 different games and some noobs in here..watz next?? bf2 is better than fable??...hahahah...go take a hike!

Just look at wat EA?dice are doin...making BF2 special forces...LOl it totally looks soo gay.... Im sure someone could mod all the **** they promised for free...stupid corporate assholes.

Yes indeed it does have HDR, Its in the advanced display options, You'll need a medium range pc to run it well.HDR is available in all the source games now,Valve is gonna release the map tools to include HDR for the Mod community..So its gonna be exciting ..HDR is really awesome!!

As both as a HL2 and BF2 fan,
im not crazy about DOD:S.
Controls are way too loose.
Gameplay feels void..No substance. although Ballistics Feel real, I have to admit, the sound effects for firearm discharge, and impact are nicely done.
Graphics are nicely done also, detailing is almost unreal, along with the HDR.

So, graphics get an A+, game play gets D-

DOD Source is very good I think. The graphics are nice , especially bullet particle effects and there is actually blood in the game, unlike BF2.
ALso DOD source is far more balanced than BF2, and more realistic.
In BF2 it takes half a pistol mag to kill som1. In DOD2 they are dead in like 2-3 hits from a pistol, and one hit from the rifles.

To the original poster, topic starter, day of defeat source looks nothing like the first. (exaggerating)
