topicstarter, you miss the whole point of selling thihngs.

Fact is, people like BF2 and it gets sold big time, meaing even if it isn't perfect, it still is a good product, there are some games out without bugs but just not wurth playing, they also cost 50$ , so what is the biggest rip of he.

Tbh i work in the design field and i can fully understand MassKilla's position. As for the game sure it has its bugs BUT WHAT GAME DOESNT ?? when it first comes out. Its very hard to ship out a game that is 100% flawless from a programming point of view.

I enjoy BF2 as im sure alot of other people do, and im actually looking forward to patch 1.03. Bf1942 went through many patchs as im sure BF2 will. So my question to MassKilla is WHY DOES HE THINK BF2 is such a shotty piece of crap?

I can think of many many other EA titles that had great potential but EA just raped the sales then dumped support for them. Games like Zero Hour, Battle for Middle Earth, both have huge communitys yet EA doesnt give a S h i t about supporting those games cause they are busy pushing out their next big seller like BFME 2, and Red Alert 3. I wouldnt be suprised if EA announced they are dropping support for BF2 in 6 months because they are making way for a new game.

In all actuality the only games EA ever supports fully is its Sports titles, i mean hell they actually have anual competitions for Madden, and CASH PRIZES!! Can you imagine if they had BF2 competitions or Zero Hour contests?

Like i said EA knows where its bread and butter is at (Sports Games) and the rest of us fanboys of BF2 and RTS's like Command & Conquer are left jumping up for their table scraps.
