EA... Are you guys foolish enough to play into their hands?

The title pretty much sums what I'm about to say. I know many people here are a big fan of BF2 and knowing you, you will play right into EA's hands. Did you guys know that EA/DICE is raping the money out of you? An expansion pack thats 30 USD for not soo many new features is what it takes to make you go waste your money?

Well did you know you guys are playing right into EA's/DICE's hands. I will probably not buy the SF expansion pack, but all with good reason. I did not pay 60 bucks to get a game thats still BETA, and with a handful of maps and exploits. Not to mention a **** AntiCheat protection called PunkBuster that totally ****s over good programs such as Diamond CS ProcessGuard!

On top of that they believe they can charge 30 bucks more and rip apart another 2-8 million dollars in sales because of fanboys who are willing to buy anything instead of standing up.

You guys have to show EA/DICE a lesson! Show them you cant be pushed around and raped of your money! The fact is if you dont start now, they'll keep doing it in the future, which could get much worse by god knows how much... You realize if they dont make good sales on an expansion pack it means they'll rethink about the quality and time they put into building the game! It'll push for a BETTER game.

The fact is by buying the SF expansion pack you guys just show EA/DICE that they can pick your pockets clean for doing absolutely no work. Make them earn their money instead of slapping on a few extra stuff, stamping it with their copyright and trademark and shipping it out.

Was that sarcasm or seriousness? Because I'm starting to get turned off by how this "EA ripped us off thing" is seeming to become more and more like a fad, and no longer just a common oppinion. Yes, we are quick to criticize the game for being too buggy, but we never thank anyone for giving us patches or their own maps (like Wake 2007) for FREE. We are getting these things out of nothing more than the goodness of their hearts and public relations. If the friendly fire bug isn't fixed by the time SF comes out I won't buy it either, but I want to wait and see what that next patch is like.

I will not thank EA. Not when you compare them to EPIC games which GAVE out their ECE bonus Pack for FREE to those who already bought their game, even though they had it out on the shelves of stores @ 60 bucks US. It really go's to show that EA is just ripping you off and it shows it. Futhermore EPIC's UE is way more stable than EA's BF2 Engine, and the biggest part about it is they gave their 60 buck Bonus Pack away for FREE to pre-existing customers.

I've never seen EA do that ****, and they think they can get 30 bucks from you guys for the same amount fo crap EPIC gave out for free. Seriously a reality check needs to be in place.

Well i see here some modification projects that are so d@mn good even when they are in the early stages but it still looks very promissing!

And looking at the recent screens EA is releasing to show their upcomming expansion pack is so totaly the opposite comparing to what we see with the modification projects or what we allready have ingame.

When you are a big company like EA and you show such screens i can only say, what the heck thats discusting!
Why is it that we see beautifull screens from the community that works on modification projects but EA cant and shows us crappy ingame screens from their upcomming expansion pack SF?

So its a hard dicission to pay for this expansion pack, i will use the fanboys inhere to see what they think first.
Because i know they buy it for sure without thinking, so they are my testers !

Because you dont seem to understand that EA's having reprocussions in all aspects of employment. Your crappy dollars are being put to a crappy game which is being put to develop a crappy engine, which is making other parts of the industry work on new innovative hardware and software.

You dont seem to realize that your money is not being put to into good use. The fact is your money is causing the destabilization of the world economy, exspecially in the poor state it is right now with Oil, and the fact that pretty soon the continent of North america is being faced with a crisis shown in the study of demographics.

I dont sit in my mothers basement complaining, I'm sitting in an office thats undermanned and making me do overtime because of the problems the game industry is causing. Its a well known fact that 50% of the problems in the game industry stem from EA, and from there 80% of the problems come from their practices. The fact is if Valve, EA, Dice, and Atari supported the same type of treatment EPIC gives, then you wouldn't see such a big inflation in the industry.

If you plan on being anything to do with IT, and your about to graduate highschool, college, or University, I'm going to say good luck. With the state things are in now because of the state of the industry, you'll probably get turned down from 9 out of 10 jobs. Most employers look for experience to handle the overwhelming workload. A freshie from a textbook doesn't cut it.

I believe you should stop trying to convince a fancommunity by saying bad words towards their allmighty wonderes!
The fact that you did open your eyes and put you thoughts inhere is not appreciated by this fancommunity wich results in sayings to you as "go back to youre mother basement" or stuff like that.

Convincing a fancommunity like this is a lost case i suggest you dont waste your time anymore!

am i missing something. an expansion pack for 30 or 40 dollars which has everything an expansion pack is suppose to have (new maps, teams, weapons, vehicles) is a rip off? what more do you expect from an expansion ?

Yea. This game is horrible. That's why you play it daily. That's why you are registered on a fansite about it. Yep.

People seems to be forgotten that the people that has registered inhere could be fanboys also like you when they first signed in.

But those people got dissapointed further along the way when they saw the game basicly had so many bugs from the start, and that the first patch was bad and the fix didnt help very much afther EA announced BIG CHANGES in the first patch.
And now have to wait to long for the first real patch to come out.
