Seriously, Battlefield 2 has the wrong title. Battlefield M203 seems more appropriate to describe what it's like to play against the USMC.

Sometimes I wonder whether people use the M203 launcher more than the damn gun!

I am aware of how both the MEC and PLA forces have M203-equivalents, and yes they probably get used a lot too. However, I'm an addict to the medic class I generally only play as a MEC or PLA medic because they both have good assault rifles that can fire fully auto, which is useful at close range. The USMC medic can only fire 3-round bursts, which isn't flexible enough for me. Hence, the USMC is normally the enemy and hence I keep getting killed by the M203.

It's not really that bad though. When I'm owning the enemy they have to do whatever they can I guess. :)

Ah come on, this consistent whining about the Grenlaunchers is just ****ing ridiculous. I mean, the assault class is meant to kill enemy infantry, it's been made for this purpose only, so don't whine around! Thx.

Yeah. I think people who use M203's as a primary weapon must think they are good, but everybody knows it takes no skill to use the launcher.

Everything is whoring nowadays, you guys that like the G3 are G3 whoring, BH whoring, Medic and Support are point farming, Snipers are headshot whoring, Spec Ops are C4 hoars...and I'm guilty of thread whoring...gimme a break...

I'd seriously laugh at the people who use M203 all the time when it gets nerfed. It's like the M60 of BFV all over again. Those darn idiots at DICE always JUST LOVE to put in one whoring option for players to complain about, and then get blessings for releasing some patch to fix it.

I'm not really affected by it. They just get hit by my rifle as usual. That's all. Good luck at trying to use your M203 all the time during competitions.

meh ... all you "OMGZORZ ILL PWN U WIT M3H 203" ... the actuall noob thing we are all complaining about is the fact that if you come around a corner running into an enemy you just scream for your momey and tap the mouse .. there is no skill in poping out a nade everytime you get scared ...

i like to do the same to tank whores, get in a tank and kill them, and keep killing them as they try to jump on a tank, heli whores, since they cant take anyone in the air i chase them, they like to kill guys on foot which is dumb, no challange

So f***ing what. The assault trooper's been made for killing infantry in CQC, so don't whine when your ass get's wiped out. Just stay away from narrow paths, if you aren't heavily armored (i.e. support or assault) and do the job your kit is supposed to do.

The thing people complain about when it comes to the grenade launcher is NOT the fact people use it. It's those bunnyhopping noobs who jump round a corner, pump a grenade at their feet and don't die from an explosion that should wipe them out...

I've used the M203 twice in Karkand, and twice only. (well, I've only been playing since monday...) Both times I got four kills with it.
