I might be the only one here, but I still like the game. I am a BF1942, BFV veteran and I know the problems. I see 100.000 people playing the game everyday and enjoy myself pretty good. But if you don't like the game and love to complain about it, feel free to find yourself a better game. You won't be missed between the amount of fans.

When you pay for something and it turns out average you have the rite to complain half of you on here probably gets mummy and daddy to pay for the game as it is or use your pocket money £35<<<<could have been beer money!

instead of making us wait long time for ONE patch, they should have made more small patches, one every 2 weeks or so, then some would not bitch about it

Can anyone give us some facts? How many people employed by EA/DICE, and how many of those are working on the patch? How many hours a day?

I don't think you can come to any conclusions untill you know what EA and DICE have been doing with their time.

I wish BF2 used a update system like Steam that Valve uses for it's games.. At least then they can fix stuff much faster, release much more smaller updates more frequent.. Now we have to wait months for a big patch.. And waiting just sucks! Especially when there's so many annoying things in the game you know they're gonna fix, but you have to wait for it.. I understand the feeling of getting fed up with it..

The reason why people inhere call it the best game in game history.
Due to the fact they see previews and reviews written by GAMESPY or NVIDIA saying its the best FPS game ever.
Only those people forgot that GAMESPY and Nvidia are EA partners and do backdoor friend politics with this.
Hehehe people should open their eye's and have to figure out who's fooling who in the game buisness.

But hey you cant convince a person thats so dedicated to something to be realistic and see the truth.

I was under the impression that Dice Sweeden was working on the patch while Dice Canada was working on the expansion. All this boycott crap is pointless. Its not going to make anything come any faster. Chances are they wont releas the expansion till after the patch anyways. I mean why release before and have to redo the patch? That could be one reason for the delay, they are needing to test the patch with the expansion so that you people wont bitch about it needing a patch. If that is so and they are trying to cover all thier bases with one patch I think we will see some new content with this one, then no more patches.

If it wasn't for the so called "whiners" there wouldn't be a patch at all. So all the "EA Lovers aka EA Suckers" can thank the "whiners" for a patch coming out at all....pending it ever does.

Because complaints become whines when people say things like:

"I could program a better game, WTF!!!!" (No you can't. If you could, you'd be doing it, and then you'd read about people b*tching all the time about your product.)

"This is a BETA game, WTF!!!!111111111!!!" (No it's not. It works pretty damn well on a great many different systems. Sure, it could use some adjustments, which is what the patches are for. But it's not "unfinished.")

"This game is crap!!!!1111" (No, it's not. Or at least it isn't to hundreds of thousands of people who play it daily.)

"If it wasn't for whiners, there wouldn't be a patch!!!" (No, all whiners do is make a huge stink about every last thing that bothers them, without any idea of proportion and reasoned response.)

People talking to EA and saying, "it doesn't work on my system . . ." or "when I do this, I can walk through a wall . . ." or "people can get themselves tk'd and then blame me for it . . ." is what prompts patches.

Not people making childish rants about how EA is a terrible corporation that's full of idiots or money grubbers, or how the players are OWED something, or nonsense like that.

There is a huge difference between talking rationally about a problem, and calling the company and its developers a bunch of lazy b*stards.

Please, all of you who make those allegations, grow up. Get a sense of proportion. Stop acting like the fact that a game you bought doesn't work entirely to your satisfaction all the time is somehow the end of the world, or a crime. You're beginning to sound like the people who sue a fast-food franchise because they spilled coffee on themselves (and it was hot!) or because they eat there every day and get fat.

nice sig....however Im probably not buying the expo. I didnt say I wont play it, but Im not buying it. If anything Ill wait for the next UT...atleast those games are fun for more than a few weeks.

(I already did go play something else so you cant use that one)

anyways guild wars is pretty fun...except for the buggy movement sometimes, but thats about the only glitch ive seen for that game.

Anyways whining is what gets games better. Its people who report bugs and such that make it easier for companies to find problems and patch them.

Great Idea !!!! Then the whiners would complain about not being able to join the 5000+ servers that are down all the time because they keep installing new patches! Pffffft!

You can please all the people SOME of the time & you can please some of the people ALL of the time. BUT ... You can NOT please ALL of the people ALL the time!!
