      Kudos Private Pile.
Mothorboatjones you showed your age with the first thing you said; "What a gay loser admin". Sorry sir, but you truly are a Private Pile.

I would prefer to play on a server where people weren't swearing. I get totally sick of it. If I ran a server, it would have a no swearing rule. Learn some decency - any decent person doesnt swear every time something goes wrong IRL, so why in the game?

          Just grow up.

The stupid loser commander ignored it or didn't know how.

Finally after getting no response I wrote him a message asking him why he didn't send us the artillery. He said "you didn't need it!" I called him a f*cking idiot. That's when I got kicked for bad language.

Look, what kind of moron would set up a server where curse words are kickable offenses? I don't know, I'm just don't get the reason for being so sensitive to a stinking curse word. Racism, yes, xenophobia, yes, but cursing? LAME!

It was like a double whammy. A loser commander and a silly no cursing server.

Feel free to disagree. I couldn't care less. It's my personal opinion, and I think it's stupid.
wow... once you mature..if you do... come back. it is there because kids play on servers and other people who may not appreciate foul words also play. so once you understand that come back.(I.E- if....IF you ever have kids, would you want your kid playing on a server with people cursing like no tomorrow.) ok now go mature and come back.

                heres the deal......

                severs have rules...follow them...

My clan has a server (www.walkonwater.cc) and we do not allow cussing...at all...no abreviations...nothing.

We do this to promote a family environment...becuase not everyone playing the game is over 18.

                its just the rules....follow them.\

You know, as much as I'd like to agree, considering I write/swear all the time, calling my team a bunch of idiots, etc, I think it's actually against the EULA when installing BF2. I think it's the same for this server's forum.

Personally, all the ethical, racial and exclamative curses are fine and dandy with me. Hell, you can tell me to eat my own mother and I will laugh, but I am in complete agreement with "no swearing" rules. Once again, I don't like it, but I udnerstand it.

Call of Duty was great for swearing, and most of the answers were like: don't swear because a child might be playing. If a child is playing a shooter, the last thing you should be worrying about is a guy telling another guy to "whatever" off, or to stick something up ones something.

Their server, their rules. I still swear though!! All the time.

                  PEACE

That's fine. Kicking ppl for things like "wtf" and "ah crap" is just plain idiotic. For all you know, they are thinking "what the funk" but your feeble little minds think "funk" is a bad word. Sad, but true. Why, they could even be thinking "why the fuss?"...I guess you'll never know since you kick/ban for abbreviations.

So..family environment...yeah...cause families tend to sit together and play shooters, sniping each other, blasting each other. I love your reasoning, it makes me feel good about being myself, because I know when I will have a family, the last thing my child will do is play a shooter.

                  PEACE

That's "PYLE" not Pile. Old 60's show between a no good pvt and his unit sgt.

I really have to support the admin for kicking on the bad language. I am not always clean myself but anything we can do to improve gaming is a positive.

Want language? I like it when a tker starts to swear and curse after I engineer a few deaths to get him kicked or banned. The dirtier the language (Angrier) the Tker gets the easier it is to auto kick for language.

                    =)

I got booted from a server once because of my login name...BLOKIE .... seems the admin thought it was a racial slur against British people !!!! - he ignored the fact that I'm British and booted me.

I've also been booted because I neglected to pick someone up, it's not like I did it on purpose I just didn't know the request was directed at me, next thing I know I'm getting an admin message stating I'm being kicked for "non team play"

Amen friend. It's like having the nick (in call of duty) "Untrained Iraqi Soldier". Some people find it offensive, but they don't realize the truth of the matter. Sometimes people need to look beyond the name and see the reason.

As for your name, I couldn't see how anyone could find that offensive. If EA hasn't warned you, and there is no way to change it (until next patch) then it should not be up to them to kick/ban you.

                        Blah!

Thrilling as this topic is. Their server their rules, go play somewhere else, there are plenty of servers out there. Using profanity doesn't show a lot of class, that may mean nothing to you, but it does to others.

I show class in person, in the real world.

Playing online is a way to get away from real life, therefore rendering "class" obsolete.

Once again, their server, their rules. I'm the first to disconnect from those servers and find one that doesn't care/mind. But I'm sure I read somewhere in the agreement that says it's actually not allowed, so technically all the servers shouldn't permit it.

                            Is this the case?

I HATE dumb commanders.Thats one thing you CAN practice in singleplayer but some people are just too lazy to bother and would rather annoy other people on politicaly correct servers. I've been on some servers that display admin messages saying "Command or fight but don't do both,do your job or get KICKED!!"

                                Class follows class.

Playing in trailerparks among the dumpsters does not make a good environment for gaming. Oh well if you enjoy it.. go for it =)
