Unless you speak Chinese, otherwise you would not know how terrible the Chinese voice acting is. I guess some Cantonese speakers did the Mandarin voice acting for DICE, becasue the voices are with full of false pronunciation and accent. I am pretty sure whoever did the voice wasn't even native Chinese Mandarin speakers. They were surely voice "acting".

Chinese voice acting is a total joke, I hope EA/DICE will fix that.

Although i dont really have a problem with the voices, some times the MEC girl disturbs me, her voice is weird sometimes.
I do agree with quasimodox and Supervisor84, the chinese voices are abit funny..and off. Glad to know i'm not the only one.
Still, its nice to have some variety when playing; even then more emotion is needed! (like someone mentioned earlier)

anyone else think it sounds like the chinese medic is sneezing when he drops a med pack or is that just me?

makes me laugh every time, just like the sort of scared NEIN! the germans used to say vocally in forgotten hope when you used the f5 f5 keys (or was that f5 f4?)

as for the voices sounding cheesie i dont mind them actually, oh and does it sound like the commanders got a lisp (usmc side) listen to when he says:
work harder sholders :laugh:

They do sound a bit too relaxed to me. The grunts sound pretty good but the squadleaders sound just plain corny. Also I hate how calmly the commander says "Outpost is being overrun." He almost seems to have a hint of pride in his voice. Same with "enemy weakening key positions". I used to think he said "Enemy weakening, keep positions" because of his tone. It is also seems dumb when the commander says "We are losing this battle, start fighting harder or I'll find someone who can." (oh no, please don't do that) .Then again the Americans in 1942 sounded like something out of a GI Joe toys commerical.

And I seriously doubt the MEC would have a woman operating any of their high level equipment knowing the amount of sexism in Middle eastern countries likley to fight the US.

But, squad leaders and a few lines from the commander aside, I think it's a pretty good job.

And is it just me or does the Chinese guy sound like he's saying "Eating taco pudding, wanbe." when he spots a tank?

Not me ....there fin but i just wish you can have an option to only here them ingame insted of blarin all over your radio.
Wish i could turn the chatter off!!

I think the artillery-related US guy's voice is like Michael Jackson's... Also, I wonder what they were planning with the "Abandon ship!" order of the US. Commander...

I think the voice acting is fine. The line that always slays me is the MEC woman.

And sometimes I think I hear the Chinese guy say "whuzzup"
