I was in a nice knife fight yester day as sniper. This guy was reloading so i sneak up and try to knife him he notices me so he pulls out his knife two. After a minute of every knife trick in the damn book i see him running at me. As he runs at me i give him two headshots with pistol!

CHEATER, just joking, the sniper shoulda taken out his pistol the whole time.

I've never had to use more than one rocket on anyone I hit lol

Not to mention hand grenades and m203 grenades are superior to the knife.

Rockets are easy to avoid when you're not in close quarters, or you don't know the rockets comin to ya, strafe a bit and go prone if needed, tip for hittingpeople, hit the ground close to them, some splash damage, plus, prone people die as well.

1. I will also agree the Knife is the most deadly personal weapon in the game. 2. Whats with this noob stuff.....Im gonna do all that I can to kill the players on the other team "noob tube" included. Had some guy go off on me for about 5 mins today about being a noob and me having no skill so I came back around 3 more times and give him the "noob tube" just to hear him cry about it. 3. And yes you can hunt and kill a certin player I wrote a post about it elsewhere here in "tips and tricks" 4. bottom line is if you get knifed it affects your game play you spend more time looking around on that map. You go off on me doing that "noob" stuff ,that also affects your game play, and youll get an insult and Ill be back.........was that a rant? Hmmmmmm Im not sorry and I "will" do it again. HEH HEH HEH

Well...take for instance yesterday, on Karland...I shot at this guy with an entire clip, he was a squad leader. I'm normally not a bad shot, but for some reason, this guy was just not dying.

I don't even bother reloading, or switching to pistol, he's about 20paces from me, I run and dive-stab him, insta-kill. He had three friends firing everything at me, I was hurt, but still alive, I killed all three with a knife as they were all trying to shoot me.

I then proceeded to exclaim "w()()t" and started knifing the ground around their heads, as I know they can still see me doing it....then I got blasted by a tank. I tried stabbing the tank, it has good armor, only minimal damage

For the life of me i can't get 18 knife kills in one round, I have the Vet badge and 200+ global knife kills, but can i hell get 18 in one round, 16 is the closest i've been.

i was sneaking up on this sniper once, knife in hand, as is my standard operating procedure, when i come over the crest of the hill to find the sniper standing up, staring right down the barrel of his SVD at me! a little taken aback, expecting a guy prone facing the other way. I stood there for a second, the two of us looking dumbfounded at each other. i charged him, and interestingly enough, it worked, with my knife finding a mark somewhere in the vicinity of his left temple. im not sure he ever got over the initial shock of having a rabid, knife-weilding man pop up through the grass at 8x magnification smack in the middle of his scope.

anyway, yeah, knife rules.

32 player Karkand maps with 40 or 50 players are your friend.

Knife kills are not always 1 hit one kill. Unless you stab in the head. I think the assault and anti tank class take more hits with the knife if its not in the head.

No, I'm serious. We've tested this on our LAN too.

Go up to someone, stab them on the foot. They die.

True, nades do alot of damage, and most are fatal. I'm more-so talking about direct hits with a weapon, not a blast radius effect.

I snuck up on a sniper on Shongua. He was lying in the grass and I crawled over to him from the side. Just as I was about to stab him he turned towards me. It was like 20cm between us. Then I stabbed him. Man I would have loved to see his face!!

Seriously. That and the fact that I can revive fallen teammembers is the only reason that I play Medic. The defibs are great fun to use, and it's always funny to be playing in the same Lan place as someone you just defibbed. Screams of "WTF!?" and pounded desks. Ah, great.

Plain and simple, the knife.

I can shoot at you with the largest and most powerful gun, and not kill you.

Get close enough though, one stab wound, anywhere on your body, whether it's your face or your foot, instant-death.

Go figure!!!

Sorry mate, the most powerful weapon in the game is the human mind directing a character in the game. Paradoxically it's also the weakest weapon.

It is the most powerful, but you have to get very close and personal to someone to use it, also if you do kill someone with a knife the death is cooler, and you feel like you accomplished something :laugh:
