No they can't. That idea that you're putting forth is what I find absurd. For example, they can't just write code that says, when a player dies, blow up their computer, delete their hard drive, etc. Yes, this is an absurd example but it follows your idea of letting them do whatever they want it just varies in degree.

EA get the added benefit because they own the game and they MAKE THE RULES. They're game, they're rules. When you buy Bf2 you buy the right to play it and you play by EAs' rules...

Not to insult you but it is "their" not they're. They're = they are.

I stand by what I said. The only benifits that they should have is getting the game for free. Not to mention testing the new maps/weapons/vehicles before anyone else. Nobody should have unlocked weapons before their time.

Its not like they can dual-weild weapons. so no advantage in firefights - in anycase the different weapons are not an 'advantage' they are an alternative.

But just to end this, when i get back to work im gunna request that i can have Master Sgt of the Corp and a nuke or something stupid like that. Then you can come kill me and feel happy about the whole thing.

Are we in agreement that there are people who feel differently about this, and that each has his/her own reasons for feeling the way they do. I won't lock this now, but do we think that all has been said that is going to be? I mean it seems like the argument is running in cirlces, we all know where eachother stands.

I suppose, but the question/problem hasn't been answered/solved.
I would like it to be and therefore want you to keep it open untill either an EA official drops by and clarifies things...like FirePuff, she is a regular visiter.
