i had the problem too when i started up, but after that i put like AA on low and vsync and other stuff higher and somehow it made it look way better like in the screenshots.

This game is AWESOME!! Definately gonna be picking this one up on day of release. Has some very interesting new aspects of gameplay. The graphics are also TITS!! This is the first RTS game I may have to buy a new graphics card for. As for the guy above me -- not sure what your problem is, it works fine for me.

The ultimate best eye candy in this game is when your taking down a building with teh mortar, you've got to love the holes it puts int eh building.

Glasseye, I'm not quite sure what you mean; the tactics are more complex in this iteration of AoE than the past two. How long have you actually played the demo? I've got about 5-7 hours under my belt right now.

oooh i have got about a whole day under my belt.. I cant get off the demo, its freakin addicting..I have like 7 cities on level 5..Game Rocks!!!Its just a demo, i wonder what great things the full version will have...I already have some sweet tactics im so waiting impatiently to use.

I went to the site, but the hage Flash area wont load the flash, any reason why? I have flash player 7 installed.

Also, whats the release date of this game? I know im going to get it.

Well, EBgames.com seems to be hoping for a 10/18/2005 ship date, but as far as I know, nothing has been confirmed.

Edit: According to the site Lu0s3r322 so kindly provided (below), it looks like the release date is actually 10/25/2005.

I've just been playing the demo for the past 4 hours...its so great!

I love the trade routes, adds another dynamic to the battle!

It's a conspiracy! Think about it, Age of Empires is part of Microsoft, Firefox is obviously their competitor... or successor. So wouldn't it be in best interrest to disable Firefox? :laugh:

In regards to the game, it's simply amazing. I have the AudioFX headphones, as shown in the banner on top. The sound quality is incredible. The vibrations from the falling buildings makes me drool. It's fairly different from what I'm used to (I'm a RoR fan) so I'll keep playing. I would recommend this to anyone with a decent computer and an interrest for RTS games. (Or someone who likes to blow stuff up )

I really love the graphics, but the gameplay hasn't brought anything new I like. Still seems like you have to understand the way the game is built rather then using common sense to beat it.

Im not downloading or playing the demo. Im already a AOE fan, and if Im going to play AOE3 I want to play the wholething and not be teased by the demo. Im already sold and I haven't even seen any screenshots yet!

It's ok but the combat is boring to watch, and I don't see any advanced physics I've heard about.
