I don't know what people are talking about when they say cordless gives them lag... if their mouse is screwing up then either their cordless receiver is too close or too far, or they put it near a magnetic or electronic device, which they tell you NOT to do. My MX1000 works perfectly and I can click fast as hell and not experience delay. I used to always use a light mouse that I only needed 4 fingertips to use, but after a week of using the MX1000, where I use my whole hand, I found it easier to aim more precisely, because the weight and use of the full hand can move it more slightly than a smaller lighter mouse. Just my experience.
