Well as Napoleon said "A soldier will fight long and hard for a bit of colored ribbon" the same thing applies to BF2.

The problem is that it gets in the way of teamplay. This game is supposed to be about teamplay, not lame point whoring. I think points are the worst thing that has happened to this game. I wish they'd remove them all. I get so tired of going on public servers only to find some dweebs who say they're only knife fighting so they can get their lame ribbon or something equally useless. Worse still are the "teammates" that won't play as a team because they can rack up more points other ways.

For those of us that play the game for the teamplay it gets tiring. Very tiring.

You just have to make the game last. I got my commander badge (40pts) and this one in the saem round. I almost never used artillary, just try your best to help out your team as much as possible by pointing out enemies and dropping crates. I beleive your commander score is average of team score so you have to help them out. I got it on 32 player sharqi peninsula

yep.. easy to get.. i got staff officer.. and some other one in the same round as commander on sharqi.. just be a good commander :-)

i was 1point away on a 32man kubra dam game...i was mad, the came took way more than half an hour

raxor how many losses did you have before your win:loss ratio was going up?

Mine has been pretty even until now when i have started winning more than losing....I'm still only around 1.2:1 though lol.

SOR - I got it no probs. WCR - what is with that ratio and since when was your teams performance a sign that you're a good player. You cant rely on others to win. Its just chance if you win or loe a round. Ea change it so that you have more say in winning the thing. Unfair methinks

Got mine on 20 player Songhua Stalemate (32p version)
It was not that hard, only the game has to be long enough. Few players/big map = constant flagswapping, high commander score, and long game.

i had around 250, most of the times i was lucky with a good team. but ive had some where whatever you do the team just sucks... its a pain to get and not dependant on you

So it's wins/losses that should be >3? I thought it was your kills/deaths ratio that must be >3 to get that one.
