what happend to the battlefield community?

In battlefield 1942, everyone would talk and stuff and have a good time and say like, goodshot, gg game, good round, and things like that, u could talk to people and stuff like that...now the only time u see someone say something is when they are insulting calling everyone a noob, or complaining about getting punished for tk.....also now when u go in a server without auto balance its like 27 to 10 people they just dont change teams...and i am not exagerating i just came out of a server like that....and u have people punishing u for running over ur mines....I hope this changes and the community is like how it use to be.... long live the bf1942 community

I dont feel like getting flammed so if u dont agree u dont have to say anything, if u do agree let me know what ur oppions are on this subject aswell

Yes unfortunatly stats often degrade a games community. I myself like the addition of stats myself cause I like to see how I do, but this isnt the first community ive seen them deform.

Yep, stats certainly have something to do with it. It does affect people's play, conciously or subconciously.

Personally, I try to dish out compliments when deserved. Just because everyone else seems rude doesn't mean I have to be. I love it when I receive compliments, and I assume others get the same satisfaction.

- If I see someone pull off a great shot to take down a black hawk, I'll type a congrats message. If I see someone climb up a building to knife three snipers - I'll type a message letting them know how funny it looked.
- If my squad does something good, or we just about to finish a good game, I'll tell them using VoIP. Same if I've been commander and the squads are actually working. Spam the "Good work squad", and congratulate them over the mic.
- If I have an epic 1-on-1 battle with someone (win or lose), or kill/be killed by the same person continously, I'll try and type a message letting them know I've got a sense of humour, and no hard feelings - it's just a game!

it is the stats... i find myself many times getting caught up in getting points that i forget about winning or loosing just how many points I get. But im getting over the stats now... so im getting back to just having fun playing, after all its just a game.

Modern warfare, modern world.

Though it seems to help if you play MEC or China, a lot more friendly to play on those sides I found out.
