They shoud give em back the rifle from BF1942, it was great for sniping because the Sniper rifle had scope movement. Give em a SLR, like with 10 rounds, then it'll be like an SVD with no scope or something, there was three reasons why i played engy in BF1942, the wrench, the Dynamite, and the Garand, or the other bolt action rifles. The garand was the best weapon, only problem, you can't reload except on an empty clip.

Engineers aren't popular because of the idiots (won't use noobs here because it doesn't apply) who punish them because they run over friendly mines that are very clearly marked. How stupid are these peeps that do that?--no need to answer, because they are definetly too dumb to be playing this game.

Or maybe a small submachine gun? Low-medium damage semi auto?:)

Yeah, give em a micro-uzi or something to the MEC, a Mac11/9 to the USMC, and the crappy gun that AT has now to the PLA, then upgrade the crappy AT sub gun to one that can actually stand a chance against even an MP5, or a pistol. Or, how bout give PLA nades instead of a crappy SMG, that would give more variety to BF2.

my second unlock was pkm the support role is great i try to tag along with anti tank and aid them by ammo and killing infantry.only thing which annoys me i have been punished for team damage and kills people do not realize there is great skill in accurate supressing fire and somtimes friendlies get killed

Most of the time, Medics. The only time anyone plays as a medic is Karkand. For good reason. For me, Karkand is so fun for medics because you don't even focus on killing, there are so many deaths its like a game in itself trying to avoid artillery and nades to revive all your men. I've never been less than #2 as a medic on Karkand. Anyways, I always finish in the top 5 as a medic on any map, yet can never find medics except city maps.
Lack of ATs on Karkand is a HUGE annoyance for me. A lot of the times I get so sick of it I end up being AT myself to stop the friggin APCs no else seems to mind being spawn killed by.
I've stopped playing Support and Spec Ops until the patch. I think a lot of people are thinking the same thing about Engys.
About The Engy shotgun, man, if they gave shotguns to the medics... that would be the ultimate. Medics are CQB 90% of the time in any map because of jumping on recently dead players.

If the point system worked the same way for Engy as it does for Medic/Support, you would probably see alot more of them. I've been playing engy alot lately, made it through a hole round of Karkand with the same M1A2, however only got like 9 Engy Points. EA/Dice have no respect for Engies!
