Does anyone have any complaints about the PKM?

Even though im not really close to my next unlock (13300+ points) I was thinking about getting the PKM for my next unlock. All I have really heard about it was that it ROCKS. Does anyone that got it have any problems with it.

Honestly, by now you should know about the search button. There are about 50 threads about loving or hating the PKM.

The only downside is that it's not accurate at long range and you need to go prone for it to be any useful (except closeup), but that's the same with any other support gun.

I unlocked the pkm and I really hate it, I have no idea why so many people love it.

1. It looks really ghetto and poorly modeled
2. It fires extremely slow
3. It is extremely inaccurate

I can own anyone holding a pkm with my SAW/RPK anyday.

no it isn't that bad, you have to learn the strengths and weaknesses of all weapons. PKM is a great unlock.

Are you sure about that? Maybe there's that typical "4 letters or more" constraint in place because when I do a search for "PKM," I get back zero hits. (Of course, this makes no sense since at the very least this thread should have come back as a hit.)

I have found it's good for spooking some less experienced pilots, you know, the kind that can't hover so instead land next to the flag. Start shooting, and they get scared and fly off. On the other hand, it rarely fazes the pros.

when i fing dead people that had PKM i took it...and i loved the gun....if you think its inaccurate and usless you just dont know how to use it...when i use it i had 1 bar of health and took down 10 people in a row

I have taken people out at 150 yards or more it is alot more accurate than the other support weapons.

I also win any battle with this regardless of what there kit is IMO this is the second best unlock the g36 would always be my first unlock

i've gone back to using the stock support weapon. i noticed especially on urban maps that you are on a BIG disadvantage. it fires very slow!

btw, this isn't coming from someone who just recently unlocked it. i've been using the pkm ever since i got to corporal and now i'm about 5000 pts short of becoming a staff sergeant. so i've used it for a LOOOONG time but i really feel the ultra slow firerate puts you in a disadvantage.

i mean, you have to go prone and THEN fire and the whole action takes about 3-4 seconds. by that time, you're dead. sure, it packs a LOT of firepower but i'm going back to the stock support weapon.

this is what i'm talking about. i've been playing a lot of karkand these days and these kits always seem to beat me. they still do with the stock weapon but not everytime. sucks 'cos i really like the pkm. just too darn slow to open fire!
