For once, I agree with EA.
Down with all stat padders and cheaters. I say reset their stats no matter how many points they had to 'pad'. Those types of lame asshats need to go back to Counterstrike. If they had a life, they would realize that stats don't mean ****. All they really do is make people concentrate on getting their precious knife kills, det pack kills, and whatnot instead of actually trying to help their team win the game.
Ranked servers are also just another means for EA to make money (by renting out Ranked servers) while giving the illusion that they are trying to 'heighten' the gameplay.
How is this for paranoia? I think that the video of the Special Forces expansion pack was intentionally made by someone at EA to try to drum up excitement for the lame ass ex pack since alot of people are actually boycotting it. Think about it.

Lest we forget, if DICE would have decoupled weapons from ranks, the amount of point whoring/stat padding would be greatly reduced.

As many of the awards are far beyond time/ability that most players have, they have transcended into the realm of impossibility, and as such are not factors in play.

But unlocks are not only possible, but occasionaly useful. And people will whore/pad to get them.

So give 2 weapons per rank. By the time someone hits corporal, they will have what weapons are useful to them, and you won't see as much of the mad dash to the top.
