if thats the case, they wouldve busted him and many others a long time ago. I'm sorry, i just dont buy the argument. The plain and simple fact is he was busted cause that one guy took a screenshot of the scoreboard with him in it, and further proof that it was this screenshot that caused this, is that most of the people on that scoreboard had their stats wiped

Hope they don't wipe my stats as I've played on my account at a LAN centre, which has a different IP.

he posted a few pages back. his name is elektrix i think. he said he isnt ****ed and didnt care about stats, but i dont buy it...hes already at over 1000 points...if i were him, i would stop playing

I dont dislike him because he was first place, more power to the dude. I dislike (or maybe just disagree) with just playing as putting an APC or tank behind spawn on karkand and killing spawners though.... not like he was uber skillfull or anything owning people in combat or medicine... He just lives for points, certainly no admiration from me... bit of pity now more than anything..

Id doubt EA erased his stats for simply being in knife only server for a couple of times..think about it, he was in top 3, and wasn't just a regular player, therefore, Im sure EA did some research and found more serious stuff in order to decide wether to reset one of the top player's scores...

Do you actually think EA would do research??? I think they have better things to do with there time. like eat donuts and stuff. I am pretty sure they made an example out of him. One of those "if they can wipe a top players stats then they can wipe anyones stats" thing.

well, ive never played with him, but from many people who have, they have said he is quite good on foot...this is really irrelevant to the topic though

how can they prove more than one person is using his account? is there an EA representative outside elektric's house camping in a tree with binoculars? your post makes no sense

So you are saying that he and many others share accounts? Nevertheless, I was just answering your question. I don't care about this matter, nor do I have an opinion, one way or the other. You asked -- I answered. :)

why should i give my password to someone? im playing under a CLAN-tag

the think they just needed to do is removed the ****ing assistpoints and you cant paddle and that kind of stuff. only kill and flag points just like in bf42 that way you can see who is good or not...

for the ppl that say im the best player only because i was first the hole time: your wrong im not the best player there are players playing unranked and there better then me!!

for the ppl that still saying something about tankwhoring: Look at the vehicle boards and then find the whores and call them names!!

Who said anything about this? Look a little deeper into things people. If they see the account is logged-in from an IP in Germany one hour, and then Seattle the next, they're going to smell a rat. I stated they could look at IP addresses to see if multiple people used the same account - I never said that merely two different IP addresses automatically means two different people. I would have thought this information could be deduced, but I guess I was wrong?

Further disclaimer: I am not insinuating that any of this has ever happened, but I am just anwering the question that was asked earlier of how EA would know if multiple people were using the same account.

I can now further appreciate why services like Snopes are needed.
