Look at his ratio of city maps to non city maps. I don't know why people think hes a great player. Anyone can get good scores playing on those maps. Infact, it's amazing how many of the 'top' players spend the vast majority of their playing time on city maps.Comment

frac, this is the thing, NO-ONE that has a positive comment towards him says that he is godlike, or anything like that. he is consistent i will give him that after so many hours.
I simply admire(d) his dedication to the game and now respect his attitude and love of BF2 by keeping on playing after losing 103,000 points :shock: (omg that still shocks me to type that number

Besides hes not ****ed off and angry and has accepted his mistake. why are so many other people.
*disclaimer* as i understand the knife/pistol servers, you do not "stat pad" as in cheating (knife>revive>knife>revive>etc) you have a normal match, but because of weapons used high scores are earned through close quarter mayhem/killing/healing/reviving/etc. Regardless of how mixed up that seems, its not unfair as you can get higher scores by simply BH whoring (300 points+ a match) tank whoring (~200 a match) or various other normal (and acceptable) methods of playing.
EA only gave public notice AFTER he was reset, like they did with the unlockables weapons in the demo, sure they can decide on thier own rules but a weeks notice is only polite and normal.
For example if EA decides the using a Support class while flying BH is "exploiting" the scoring system (not my opinion, just an extreme example) they can ban it if they want in ranked servers but imagine the outcry without a warning first.Comment

ok for my first post i will chime
in. I've played one match with elektric, not saying he's a stat padder or cheater. but he was blackhawk whoring like none other. he took a flag left while he was taking another flag the first flag was recaptured. came back took that flag again, went and got another one. That flag was captured again and he came back andi helped him capture it the last time and i killed the person who kept recapturing the flag. he wasn't cheating but he wasn't helping at all, just getting more and more points. not a GREAT player, just someone who know how to get the most out of the game and has a LOT of time.
I do thing most of the top 15-20 players have at one time done some things just to get there points higher instead of trying to win the match. honestly i really only care about win to loss ratio and if you look at mine it isn't that great. because i like to jump on the losing team to see if i can turn the tide.
Thats all, not saying he's a cheater just saying he isn't a team player and is only in it for the numbers, not the fun.Comment

For once, I agree with EA.
Down with all stat padders and cheaters. I say reset their stats no matter how many points they had to 'pad'. Those types of lame asshats need to go back to Counterstrike. If they had a life, they would realize that stats don't mean ****. All they really do is make people concentrate on getting their precious knife kills, det pack kills, and whatnot instead of actually trying to help their team win the game.
Ranked servers are also just another means for EA to make money (by renting out Ranked servers) while giving the illusion that they are trying to 'heighten' the gameplay.
How is this for paranoia? I think that the video of the Special Forces expansion pack was intentionally made by someone at EA to try to drum up excitement for the lame ass ex pack since alot of people are actually boycotting it. Think about it.Comment
