the think they just needed to do is removed the ****ing assistpoints and you cant paddle and that kind of stuff. only kill and flag points just like in bf42 that way you can see who is good or not...

bf2s updates every 3rd leapyear and every other october, and thats just to get into the qeue....

So dude gets his stats reset on the basis of some after the fact rule, and in 9 hours he's already at 1800 points and Lance Corporal. I think it's just time to extrapolate that the guy is a machine. At 200 points/hr, in 500 hours, he'll be right back where he was.

And for all the folks commenting on what a high round score should be - that depends largely on the number of people in the round and what map it is. I flew the Chinese heli on a sparsely populated (about 8 or 9 players) Songhua Stalemate as support class for my highest round score, and we were going round and round capping flags, playing to win. Given the small number of people, contact was minimal, and the round must have lasted around an hour and a half to 2 by itself. In the end of that round I think I had 250 support points and about 75 driver points, the rest were combat, for a total of 377. I remember thinking it was pretty insane at the end of the round. Is EA going to come back to me and tell me that I played the game incorrectly after the fact and they're going to reset my stats?

What EA really needs to help curtail are the loopholes in the product that allow such things to happen, if they think that it's unacceptable. I know some are looking forward to 1.03 for that, but all I really want is a freaking favorites list.

indeed, he is good and plays a lot, like I said before 98% of his points where earned on normal servers, only like 1 day after the warning of EA they already reset his stats.
I think it lame from EA, they just wanted to set an example and they picked on him, wich is sad because he's a good player

377 is indeed a high score, but you just said it took you almost 2 hours to get. The knife/pistol servers get scores fast, so it is definately not the same thing as what your talking about
