Why is it that people cannot fathom, EA might have more than one department? Do you think it might be possible that a company as large as they, might be able to have some people in charge of different things.

i know for a fact that EAs entire stable of programmers is in reality just one 80year old lady called raylean. she does some programming after she watches her murder she wrote reruns, if she isnt too tired, and a couple of hours of knitting/programming on sunday after church.

EA does however employ over 4000 pr and advertising execs.

So, if some poor bloke wanders in the server unknowingly, EA catches the server with the enforced rules and everybody gets their ****ing STATS STRIPPED, innocent or not? **** that.

I think the chance of that happening is pretty slim..

If someone wanders into a violating server, they'd realize what was going on pretty quickly and either A) leave or B) stay (and accept the consequences if they are caught up)

Stat padding wouldn't occur if the ranks were fair for the casual gamers...

I could care less about medals/rank/ribbons and badges...but guns unlocks are so hard to come by that i understand the folks who want em; they're not more powerful but they add variety to the game, which is a good thing not to bore yourself out. Unless EA actually expected people to use more than 1 account.

This is excellent news, it shows that EA actually cares somewhat about what's going on in their stats system. Kudos EA.

ive been in a few. and it was fun as hell. i didnt seen anything wrong with it. but then i got kicked for mowing them down with the PKM

There is nothing wrong with knife/pistol only.. as long as it happens on non-ranked servers.

:evil: I'm going to be the odd man out and question the email.. If EA/Dice were to do something like this, it would be an official announcment on their main site.. NOT just an email to server providers. Moreover, EA wouldnt punish any members of the same clan.. they would just punish those who were taking part in the process due to the fact that the only proof they have would be seeing them in the server, doing the actual padding.

IMHO this is another load of bullshi* to make conversation.. another poorly done scam.

That means they will check out people with the same clan tags stats as well because it tends to be clans that host the servers.

Well I hope this is true. And who ever does have comms with EA should get them to send the word out about this in a more public way. People should be aware of this.
