I'm too used to Duke 3D where you have to use the keyboard to look around. Only just realized the other day it's the mouse and I've had the game since it came out.

ha ha classic, actually I remember walking into my flatmates room and watching him play a FPS completely with keys, when I explained you could use the mouse a whole new world opened up for him... I felt like the guru, sharing my superior knowledge to a lesser mortal. "Use the mouse, luke... trust your feelings"

I knew about ducking in tanks, didn't know about using it at the stationary machineguns. That sure is a lot easier than the old method: fire burst, hit <E>, go prone, wait, hit<E>, fire burst, hit<E>, go prone, wait, repeat...

For those of you that just discovered the third person view while climbing ladders, you can use it to check for claymores that snipers like to leave at the top of ladders.

I always go into "F11" (rear view) untill i reach the top of a ladder, that was i can see anyone about to shoot me off the ladder (happens so often ) but as soon as you spot them you can press your sprint key and slide back down faster the they can aim

I then go back to normal view at the top to check for claymores, i find you see them before they detonate in "normal" view you just have to stop at the top as soon as it comes into view.

well its not a feature, but when i first started playing, i would only play official servers, and i thought the last round out of the three was the only one that counted, lol, so when i would get first place on my second round i would get mad lol..so i wouldnt try till the third round, maybe i would of been at a higher score...didnt notice till i had alot of stars

None, I knew everything from the demo because I tested EVERYTHING out. Just like everyone who wants to be good at the game should have.

You tested everything out on the demo? Wow, you just became number one on my hero worship list. Yeah, I didn't know the right mouse button fires the coax. This is the second FPS I've ever played, and the first online game I"ve ever played (never played CS). Sorry I don't live up to your standards, but I'm kinda stoopid and not very Intelijent.

the M203 high explosive grenade is better than any other weapon in the game at point blank range, and the SRAW and ERYX are better at sniping than the M series (24/95) sniper rifles. though im sure we all know that by now...

I didn't know about sliding down ladders till i read this thread, or the tv guided missle clicky thing.

Use the F keys to switch positions in vehicles or planes.

Found out about armoured counter measures by accident... Frantically trying to avoid certain death I hit the 'x' key entirely by accident and thought I had died when I saw all the smoke... realized I was not dead a split second later... and then died a split second after that as the enemy tank just shot where the smoke was. What a rollercoaster ride!

Noob question of the day: When you zoom in on the commander screen to the most detailed level how do you scroll/move the map to continue looking around in this view? Currently I'm zooming in, zooming out and repositioning the cursor, then zooming in... I just know I'm being a noob...
