OK......How can we tell w/ FPS, i would like to know for myself. I believe that you can run this game on 512, But i cant see how you wouldnt want it better.

cuz i just got a new comp and it only supports dual channeling or it will screw up. i mean i have 1GB of ram on my old PC till my new one arrive, and as of now, it performs pretty good even with 512MB, so hell, maybe another 512MB would decrease my loading time and such, but right now, im happy with what i have

He's spreading miss information and holding back the rest of his system by not getting 1 gig of ram. No way will you be to tap into what this game can deliver on a system with 512 ram.

512 ram = 3+ min loading times, extremly heavy stuttering first few minutes of a round, stuttering when running on high textures. + your system will be using shitty page ram, which will make tabbing out of the game hell.

Ram does not effect your FPS in anyway. However on higher settings you will get stuttering, (lag basically). I find it imposible to believe this guy doenst get stuttering even on low settings, or that he has loading times less then 2-4 minutes.

Ive had times where I tabed out and BF2 was using over 690 Mb's of ram. So no way will you be able to tap into the maximum potential on 512 mb of ram, thats why they recommend 1 gig of ram.

I hate waiting for new crap for the puter. I'm currently waiting for my new MOBO, i swear to god if im not looking out the window for fedex truck every 5 min.
