there is a place for the M203 in this game as well as there was a place for the M79 in BFV but the only beef i have with it is that some people use it in very aggrivating ways I don't have a problem with it too much but when i get spammed with Grenades it just drives me nuts

earlier i was in a server and i was using my newly aquired L85 shooting someone in the back and i had him, (or so i thought) I had put at least 6 shots in his back and i thought i was gonna get a kill shot off but the guy just turned real quick and bam i was dead from a GP30 shot. now i don't mind getting killed but I had put the time into being accurate with my shots and i got him good. it's just real frustrating for him to get that 1 shot kill. i think all of us here have experienced that from time to time thats whay so many people are tired of it because it doesn't take much skill to do that other than being close with your shot

There are no MODS out you **** and it could be a while before any do come out . Useing nothing but the nade launchers is ****ing *** i dont give a **** what anyone says running around on a map useing nothing but the GL is bollocks. And its only on the citys maps this happens becouse on any normal map thats of a descent size its ****ing useless THATS why it needs to be changed ITS NOT a CQB weapon it should be usefull on all maps.

Yes it can be used in CQB check back on like page 6 there is some info on the 203. near the bottom it says some rounds were made to arm in as little as 4m for house to house fighting. Now Is it so hard to maybe just maybe, since we are talking about a game and all, streach our imaginations just enough to believe that that is what they are useing IN THE FUTURE [/godvoice].

Oh and I love your bit about good in citys but not in the open maps. lol sounds like balance to me.

Well I'm sure if the people complaining didn't only play on Karkand/Sharqi then it would be a non-issue, heh.

well i wish they would just make them to where they won't arm unless you're so far away it would solve the problem of them being used like shotguns besides that would be realistic anyway

So if you have an enemy 3 feet away, and another one 50 yards away, who makes the decision as to wether the M203 arms or not? Just curious.

Kinda like getting spammed with M-16 bullets, artillery, machine gun in the Blackhawk, 30mm gun on the Cobra, or any of the other weapons that can spam in the game. Really sucks. :)

M203 is used just like a frag that a spec ops would use, only dof is the range and time to impact. Now i use the m203 when needed like in 64 player servers or of i am in a tight spot. I usially go for groups of guys or wait tell a medic runs over to a dead guy then get them both. But i got to admit there is more annoying things then a m203, like armor wars or support guys camping in a corner. I got to say i hardly get killed by a m203.

Who else here thinks the nade launcher needs to be toned down. For that matter who thinks all nades should have the same effect as the nades in CS. They caused perhaps 50-60% damage as opposed to instant death with BF2 nades. Hopefully this is adressed in the 1.03 patch.

Hmmm i understand how you feel, It is annoying going against an opponent which si good with the m203 but you would die in real life if a Nade fell at your feet.

I mean i know BF2 isnt meant to be fully realistic but im just saying :p

I guess you never played BFV v1.0...the m60....now THAT was a n00b cannon.

I find the weapons in BF2 to be very balanced in comparison

The m203 is fun to use when you use it properly.

In C&C Renegade a nice trick was to run at engineers that tried to throw C4 at you, that way they'd be too afraid to detonate it, or kill themselves first in the process. Try the same thing here, if you see someone haul out the nade launcher run closer too them and they probably won't fire for fear of killing themselves :)
