I see no problem with the grenade launchers at all. I usually kill those first before they hit me with the launcher. stop whining

Lol, you guys crack me up, if you want to win, you use all the tools avilable, that would include the m203.

I didn't even use the m203 till corpral, and that was because everyone else was, so i adapted my playing style, and when 1.03 comes out, ill adapt again to combat the enemy.

Adapt or lose, its as simple as that, and don't complain about losing if you can't evolve your playing style.

The really good players, are the ones who evolve their playing styles to meet the new changes in the game.

I agree with you on that, but "evolve" our playing style to bunny hopping and shooting anything that moves with a 203, well, I vote not to. Bunny hopping is about as *** as, well, Gene Simmons. To do such a thing in a tournament just proves that you have no skills and can't survive unless your constantly hitting the jump button.

I do agree with you on using all tools available, but an entire team using 203's the ENTIRE time is not that. Sure, use what is working for you, but I have always believed that a TWL 5v5 match was about teamwork and strategy. Guess I was wrong. This was a scrim and we don't have our actual match until tomorrow, but if that goes on in the match and the ref doesn't say something about it, it will be my final TWL match. I refuse to stoop to the level of children who use these types of tactics to win. I believe if they were put into a position where bunny hopping and 203ing everything didn't work as intended then most teams in TWL would be on the lower rungs of the TWL ladder.

I can tell you don't play in TWL matches and if you do, you can't sit here and say that these tactics are how they should be played. To play at the level of bunny hoping and 203ing everything takes hardly any skill what-so-ever. As I said before, I refuse to use these tactics. I don't do it in a normal game, why would I do it in a tournament. You're supposed to bring your A game to TWL matches. If your A game is bunny hopping and 203ing (again, I say it is ok to have maybe 1 or 2 assualt people who use 203's, but not an entire team which is what my point is) then go find some other game to play.

well the one thing this game has in common with joint ops is the fact that there are a number of players out there who use the 203 all the time. they even use them when they are standing right in front of you. i cannot stand the 203. m203 or gp203 are what is called a noob tube and are only used by individuals who cannot kill someone by just shooting them with regular bullets. now i know how many of these players score so high or have many kills. you cant miss with a 203, kills someone with one shot, even when they are standing next to you. get rid of the 203, they are killing the game for many people.

Actually, you CAN miss with a 203, and I have many deaths to back that one up......its part of the game, get over it, its a legit weapon.

LOL, I was playing today on Karkand. so first I was having a good time playing, but then this noob tube'er joins the server, his name is B$e$n$h$u$r...so he kills me like 1 or 2 times with M203, and it annoys me...so I do the same, I take the assault kit and keep raping his team and him with GP-30...then I thought that GP-30 would be just too cheap...so then I started using the AK on single shot...and kept owning so bad.

By the end of the round I killed that guy at least 10 times...almost in a row, I had the best score(100+)...and I had 45+ kills without using tanks...and most of the time I used teh rifle not the GL...so that guy got PWNED!!...but he never answered me and never talked, so that wasn't that satisfying

btw, there is a really good spot by the Second flag in karkand(32player map)
there is a crack between 2 crates, where the HJ-8 missle is...and it was the spot that heped me get most of the kills, because USMC had the 1st flag and I jsut stayed at that spot and kept killing everyone who was in my sights...

AK-101 on single shot is so deadly, p.s.: Aim for the head

Hey, it's not that annoying if just one person is using it. But one time on Karkand, the whole MEC team was using the M203 -- You spawn, run to the first flag, get killed by an M203 -- Rinse and repeat about 25 times.

well get out of the way, heh. Everyone knows that map now so in that first rush everyone is lobbin nads and plunking m203 shells in the obvious places...solution...don't run into the obvious places.

So....since pretty much all the flags are the "obvious places" don't go to them? Would be interesting if everyone used that strategy...

I think you should use everything you got.....thats why its there. Nothing more satisfying than blowing up a crew of enemies with c4 and watching them fly.

yeah i hate people who use it all the time i dont mean the people who shoot it then change weapons i mean the people who shoot it miss then jump around as they reload then shoot again it just makes me very angry that all that time and they wont use the gun

Play some clan matches and you will see where the problem is. Everyone is using nadelaunchers. If a player is good, he will use a launcher. If he is bad, he won't use it.

i cant understand why anybody is complaining the tanks and choppers..ok the BH has some tough armor..but come on a tank..you can easily kill a tank..and what will you do in real world..you cant stand there saying "damn tank whore go leave the server"..IRL they also use every single thing that makes combat easier..so stop complaining about the vehicles...but i also hate the noobtube..i think they should fix it so the nade explodes after 30 meters (30 meters IRL?)...

your correct i have never played in a twl, however i am at the moment playing in a Nz tournament of 30 teams, with 24 players on the field at the one time. Don't tell me 5v5 is harder. We faced a team that did use the grenade launcher, they had skill, but the tactics were lacking so we won.

Now imagine this you have a guy jumping all over the place, killing you with a m203, he is the only guy at your main base. He doesn't jump he dies, but as he was jumping he survivied, for those extra crucicl few seconds, allowing his team to spawn on him and back him up. He was playing an important role for his team.

If you refuse to jump, like i did orginally you will lose, its a usefull weapon, but it can be countered easily, you just need the skill to do that. And using the grenade launcher does require skill no mateer, what people say. It requires skill to launch it ata moving target, and make sure you take no damage at all.

And it has the added advantage, that when in a competition game, against people like you, it pisses them off, and makes then angry, anybody whos playign angry, doesn't play well. so more its a win win for your team.


If you arent prepared to actually try and win a game, don't play.

Maybe they should make the M203s either:
A) Kill both, might reduce the number of people using them @ close range
B) Make it a timed grenade
