Heh, I am probably the only one who can't get many kills with a 203. I am better at shooting bullets instead of nades. It isn't the arch thing. I just feel like a n00b when I use a 203 and sorry for the guy that is on the recieving end, so I think I intentionally miss even though I get upset when I do, lol. Im a wierd one.

The m203's and the gp203's are fine, but they do need a distance cap. I don't know how many times I've been running along with my squad, only to have half of us blown away by a guy a couple hundred feet away hiding behind a mountain.

They are annoying, but I can't for the life of me hit a guy with them, so I say let the noobs have there fun blowing us up. Besides if they really are noobs, then thats the only way there going to kill us.

a couple hundred feet is in no way close range. Behind a mountain is what it is designed to fire over. maybe you should reword. If you cant seem to use it does that make you the noob or the guy that uses it effectivly the noob?

they kill the game for people who suck... yea its a pretty cheap weapon but you could just say the same about tanks and jets dont whine about a grenade launcher that isnt THAT amazing the launcher can miss a lot since the shot arches plus if your that scared of it just bunny hop when you see one

plus if it came down to you and the enemy in front of you all that matters is you kill him quick launcher or regular bullets its put in the game for a reason people dont want to be assault just for a strong rifle and if you cant kill someone who missed once with a launcher then u suck ass because it takes a while to reload in my opinion is just a secondary thing to get a quick kill

So....who's the n00b here? Tjhe guy getting the kills, or the guy getting killed? How do you find the assault class cheap, but not a tank or chopper? They can kill you in one shot, and are a lot harder to take out.

I hait it when i have been useing some gun ike AK-101 or the shotgun o Hvy Assult, then i use the 203 ONCE out of the hole round. And that persont hat i killed starts saying. U noob bitch whore... u get the point. its so annoying to use this gun anymore because people bitch to much.. I WISH PEOPLE WOULD JUST DEAL WITH IT. ITS A GAME> IF ITS IN THERE, u use it to. thats why i bunny hope and use the 203 because everyone else does it. Also. it isnt hard to kill a bunny hopper. Just need to have skill but most of the BF2 players i can see dont have :P

I have no idea why peeps complain about it... Sure you get a couple of running around a corner into an enemy with a 203 but not that often. Its why won't unlock the g3 cause the m203 is the best part of the assault kit.

don't know what the prob is with people complaing about bunny hopping/pseudo strafe jumping either...just easier to kill them at least in bf2. Its not like q1/2/3 where its a dynamic part of the game.

When playing assault, find I always get more kills with bullets than the GL, except vs vehicles or tightly grouped enemies. If someone catches you at close range when you are switched to GL, seems you have no option but to use it [and take them with you] or die anyway. Its slow reload makes it a near-suicidal choice in fast firefights.

On Karkand I'm using it constantly. And it works fine for me. Why should I make it harder for myself? I'm enjoying the game like this, so i'll keep doing it.

I only use it against vehicles, groups of troops, or when I am out of ammo on my rifle.

i use my m203 and I have it out most of the time because its more effective than real bullets even at close range. its usefull in many ways especially against jeeps, buggies and those dammed heli whores ( lob one in the cabin very fun!)

so dont just come and post because u got owned several times with some1 with one, just take ur m203 out and then u can shoot them too. its not sinking low its using your weapons to your advantage.

Everyone who complains about the grenade launcher has to stop using self healing med packs or C4, or antitank missles. I mean, those are advantages too...right..oh and tanks and APC's, no choppers either...they are only for noobs right?

Assault is supposed to be the king of infantry....they are assault!....for assaulting...get it?

They should have an advantage over every other ground class as far as killing goes.

The assault class has an advantages and several disadvantages. This game isn't about some ego war on who is the best shot, it is about playing as a team with a VARIETY of equipment, some more powerfull then others.

If you want to prove how good of a shot you are go play a different game, this one isn't for you.

only time i use it close range is when i know i'm going to die, was on dragon valley today by the temple with no bullets and about 2 bars of heath. Got 2 people coming towards me so i noob tubed them. i didn't kill myself, as they shot me the same time i shot them, but i would have died if i wasn't already dead. they both died though. i generally try to avoid the noob toob though, even though i spend most of my time as an assault class...
