yeh, the m95 is like the only armour-piercing weapon. Regardless of class, it'll always do 95% dmg.

I'd think it to be MORE humane. You might die NEAR-instantaniously when hit with a .308 by a real sniper, but you will die TOTALY instantaniously when you're spread out over an area the size of New Jersy in about 1 millisecond.

But if you survive (and in bf2 you invariably DO) then you are in for a world of hurt and it would probably be best if you used your knife on yourself. I see what you mean, but in these days of "oh thats horrible you can't use it!" its classed as inhumane. Its primarily designed to take out high priority targets such as tanks (shoot the engine or tracks etc) or choppers. Can you do this in BF2? NO!

I think they should, to even out the stats between the M24 and the M95, reduce the damage of the M24 to about 75 and leave the M95 as it is. If the M95 were on shot kill, everybody would be unlocking it and BF2 would simply be a more complex version of counter strike with vehicles and aircraft where we have people running around jumping, crouching then firing and using their sniper rifle as an assault weapon against a whole team... A bunch of retards running around trying to no-scope anyone would defeat the purpose of even buying BF2 in a search for more complex games besides that of Steam games.

have you ever tried no scoping someone with the M95? its suicide.

but then again if they have a M95 too, its just a stalemate. its down to whoever wakes up first and knifes the other guy just when hes reloading or after hes fired a shot.

well, im not saying a no scope duel... i mean like... idiots charging bases with the sniper rifle and firing at someones general direction without scoping just like you would in CS with the scout... If the m95 were a 1 shot kill i would imagine tons of people doing that... just running up to someone point blank and using it as a long shotgun that fires slugs.

Absolutely satisfied with this rifle. Never aim for head unless the target is visible without zooming though... Make it 1 shot kill and at least half of your and opposite team would become snipers... Is that good? Don't think so.
