Changing the upgraded sniper to a one shot kill would be ok in my book as long as the following changes were made. The sniper would be changed to a one shot weapon such as the M99 M99-1, this would increase loading time making a one shot kill gun a non dominating weapon. Also only chest and up should count as a one shot kill. Although this sounds like the CS AWM, it is alot harder to hit a moving target in BF2 than in CS. And having only one shot to hit a guy is gonna pressure more people into waiting for the perfect kill.

Instead of a one-shot one-kill for the m95, I think it should have better accuracy and scope than the m25.

its a pretty good sniper rifle, it just needs an accuracy upgrade cuz you cant hit crap sometimes
the reason why i love it is when you hit some1 in the chest with it, it leaves like 2 bars of health left, yet the m24 i must admit is better because you can actually get headshots, i only use the the m95 on smaller maps like karkand

How can you say you pwn with it? Your accuracy is only 40% sniping. FYI, mine is 42% and I only unlocked the M95 recently when I got promoted to SGT (after using all 3 of the other sniping rifles...yes including the POS MEC and China sniper rifles).

The M95 was my second unlock, and I regret it... cause it is SO inaccurate...

This is my main beef with this gun. It's basically the M24, but with less accuracy. So what's the point of the unlock? My thought is: If it's more inaccurate, give it it's damage. This makes for a harder shot, but a much more satisfying kill. I really don't see why they put this gun in the game with this crappy "shoot through glass" upgrade.

I dont think they should make it 1 shot kill. You would have a bunch of n00b snipers just pointing and shooting.
- They should make it so that it still does 95 damage but it it much more accurate and give it a 2 level scope and allow it to see through some of the fog (i.e let it see farther than the m24) This would improve it but it would still rquire sum skill 2 use

even with a one shot kill, you still need skill to hit someone from a distance. they defanately need to fix this problem.

Two words: Accuracy Upgrade

I see the logic in balancing the M95 to NOT be a 1s1k rifle, but none the less, it IS bolt action. The sheer ammount of time to load another round should make its accuracy halfway between the SVD and the M24. It's a good gun, and have even lucked out on helo pilots with it (Oh, man! When I sniped that Cobra Pilot after taking a whole quarter second of aiming, I almost died of laughter. That poor SOB was probly like: WTFBBQWERTY?!?!? He was moving, BTW) but it's not at all something you want for extreme long range combat, for that you want an M24, but in the interest of making this game even psudo-semi-kinda-sorta-almost-but-not-quite realistic, it needs more accuracy, or a 1s1k zone in the back.

Oh, man! When I sniped that Cobra Pilot after taking a whole quarter second of aiming, I almost died of laughter. That poor SOB was probly like: WTFBBQWERTY?!?!? He was moving, BTW)

My God, I almost crapped my pants first time I took out a pilot from a moving Cobra. It made the unlock worth it. But I still hate the gun, except for close range (like up to 200m) Ill switch between the standerd sniper and m95 depending on where I roost.

This rifle is also called an "Anti Material Rifle". It is designed to shoot through metal, at tanks. It is considered inhumane to fire it on infantry, because quite simply it utterly destroys the area it hits.

I'd think it to be MORE humane. You might die NEAR-instantaniously when hit with a .308 by a real sniper, but you will die TOTALY instantaniously when you're spread out over an area the size of New Jersy in about 1 millisecond.

Oh, the longest sniper shot EVER:
The longest-ever recorded and confirmed sniper kill was made by Master Corporal Arron Perry of the Canadian Forces in Afghanistan during combat in 2003. Using a .50-caliber (12.7 mm) MacMillan TAC-50 rifle, Perry shot and killed an opposing combatant soldier from a distance of 2,430 metres(1.5 miles).
