I have been using the Belkin Nostromo series and its just a fantastic solution to all the keyboard issues. I used to use the arrow keys and that made me have to find just the right keyboard that had lots of buttons right above them. My big fingers on a wasd config are no good due to wrong button presses. Now thats a thing of the past. The nostromo is the way to go.

That think is weird looking...what the hell!?!

I use arrow keys for infantry movement, plus -
SHIFT - Jump
RCTRL - Crouch
DEL - Prone

'cause I can find these easily without looking at the keyboard. Everything else mapped to mouse buttons.

It's all what your used to. I've always used the WSAD keys and I never have to look down to see what key i'm pressing. Only key I changed is I moved parachute to a side mouse button, why they hell did they ever make it 9??? i've never understood the reasoning behind that one.

Arrow keys for life over here. I prefer em cuz I've got a nice little space between the rest of my controls surrounding the arrow keys. I have room to use the full length of my fingers to reach left or right; on WASD I wouldn't have as many buttons on the left at a good distance for my fingers.

Arrow Keys for movement
keypad 0 for reload
keypad 1 for prone
keypad 4 to enter vehicle
right ctrl is jump
right shift is crouch
enter is sprint

What kind of Keyboard did you using? I mean the "win" key would be a dangerous factor.

For myself i use only Keyboards without "Win" key because i miss to often the "ALT" Key then. But i also know People who broke the "win" key out of the KB.

Regular keyboard. I don't use the alt button and beside my alt is a menu button so I've got some room to breathe. Basically, my finger doesn't go over there unless its to hit the space bar which swaps kits for me!

People will tell you WASD gives you access to more keys, don't believe them, maybe when you have small hands but with my hands with arrow keys I have 9 buttons above, 17 buttons to the right and about 28 to the left of the arrow keys that I can reach without stopping my movement, if I try the same on WASD I have 10 above, 15 to the right and 9 to the left, which is way less. you also get all keys packed together, making it easier to hit the wrong button and leaving no space to rest your fingers at the moments you do not need them. (only a problem with the really ssensitive keyboards)

My config is the same for most games
Arrow keys for movement
Right Control for reloading
Right Shift for walking/running
Enter to 'use' things and in the BF games to enter vehicles
Backspace for parachute
Insert for map
Home for squad screen
Delete for crouching
End for jumping
Pagedown for prone
I use the KP buttons for all kinds of things like flashlights, nightvision etc if the game supports those things.

oh and I use use the mousewheel button for the general radiomenu and of the thumb buttons on my mouse for the squad radio menu.

Well that's interesting, but you probably just are not used to WASD configuration. Thats what it's all about - what you are used to. If you like using arrow keys then by all means keep doing that, but for most people with "small hands" WASD is easier to get used to. That's why they are default for every FPS.

I use WASD. Only thing I ever used the arrow keys on was Woflenstien and Doom. That was a long time ago. I'm left handed so I use my right hand on the WASD and the left is the mouse. You get all your action keys surounding you movement keys. It makes it easy to duck, sprint, toggle weapons, ect. Only thing that sucks about that is in situtation like accerating torque on your chopper and hitting e instead. Then being to dumbfounded to hit the chute. DOH! I should real move that E key

I play with the arrow keys.

of course arrow keys are for movent.
num0 is for sprint
num 1 is for picking up kits
num 2 is teamspeak
num 5 is prine
num 7 is voip
num divide is that radio menu thingy
num 9 is cockpit view
num - is third person view
page down is weapon 6
page up is weapon 3
delete is knife
mouse 3 is jump
mouse 4 is crouch
mouse middle button thing is reload
