Let me tell you my worst experience: one day, i joined a server playing Kubra Dam. I spawned with eng, jumped in a tank. (we had the main base, and another one in our hands) Both teams played... well, like noobs. USMC forces had no jet pilot and a lame chopper pilot crashed two times while trying to kill me. Soon we had all the bases, I had about 30 kills, and 2 deaths. (i had about 80 points, the second one had 30) My tank was destroying their armor at long range, sometimes my tank was destroyed, but i escaped. So the battle went well.. until I run out of ammo (of the tank). So i requested supplies. Commander response was negative. Ok, i waited 2 minutes (gunning some ppl down) requested again, this time with "out of ammo" commander negative again. A tank tries to shoot me, i fall back to our next base, and requested ammo again. Negative answer. I lose my patience, I VOIP commander: "look, im your top gun, and i need ammo. NOW. RIGHT ****ING NOW, IF NOT SOONER!" waited at least 2 minutes, requesting again. Negative answer. Fall back to next base as an APC tried to kill me..... and guess what. we lost all out bases, i retreated back to our main base (at every base i tried to request supplies, but commander denied all the time, our guns and UAV and radar were ok so i dunno why he didnt want to send one supplies to me)
So, when finally 2 armors showed up in out main base, i got our of armor, went to our commander and shot him in the head. Got banned... and that was when i realized it was his clans server. Pfff.....
Thats the story of my only one intentional TK.

One clueless idiot out of ammo wandered half way around the map and killed me...I was commander on his team. He justified it because I didn't give him a supply drop. Never mind that our UAV was offline and it was at the top of the priority list for a supply drop. Never mind that the proper way to request ammo from a commander (if it is so damn urgent) is to form a squad of one and request a supply drop. Otherwise your request for ammo should be handled by the supply class. Typically I like to save supply drops for art/UAV repairs, tank repairs, and squad resupply...not for a lone wolf assault gunner.

Most people know what the game is about, some dont.

What i do: I shout at my monitor and play on, i won't let a game or other player p*ss me of. I always smile when i play...

What about supplies for squads who have just captured a new spawn point and are probably in need of a little assistance ?

Supply drops for repairing Commander assets should only be used in extreme emergencies. You should be an Engineer yourself as a Commander, or order a Squad to repair them for you.
Supply drops are needed in the field, please use them for that!
I hope patch 1.3 removes the supply crates ability to repair commander assets.

                  So, again:
                  - I was a squad leader (squad named PANZER),
                  - "all their base are belonged to us"
                  - I requested supply as a squad leader (at least 10 times)
                  - I didn't get ammo for 10 minutes
                  - our UAV, aradar, and artillery was ok
                  - we had no support player at all. (i know, 'cos when i requested ammo, noone showed up on the minimap)
                  - and again, I captured all flags and i was in a TANK. Do you know what does it mean
when a tank runs out of ammo? At least 5-8 enemy armors down.
volkl: is that clear now, that why we lost the battle? I was the only one fighting real hard.

Whatever they do or don't do, it doesn't justify you to shoot at them or kill them. I realise it's very frustrating to have them 'supposedly' ignore you, but it doesn't help. In BF2 there's usually a myriad of factors *you're* unaware of, that'd probably make you go.. "Oh.. I didn't realise that." We aren't all knowing and all seeing. Don't assume to know everything.

If someone doesn't give you ammo or medic kits, just grin and bear it, and move on.

And I agree with berrern on the supply drops repairing commander assets. I hope that gets looked at. If stuff needs repairing, the commander should use the interface to direct a squad to repair them (since it's one of the things you can tell squards to do), or even just repair them himself.

So you wouldn't send supplies to a tank out of ammo, which is on the frontline, which made more kills then the rest of the entire team for 10 minutes.
You must be a hell of a wise commander. I think you would gladly watching as the enemy takes away all your flags, 'cos your troops don't have ammo.

Sorry, but that was a fact. As I wrote, both enemy and friendly units were lame. It was a 20 player game on a 32 player map. A strong jet/chopper/armor pilot can determine the outcome of a battle. Anyway, if i had 80 points, and the second had 30, the third had 10-20... shouldn't I take some credit?
