Hi, I'm curious about your reactions when your teammates can help you (with ammo, health, repairs), but they don't? Say you're running behind a Support soldier, you're all out of ammo, you keep shouting for Ammo help, but he only looks stupid at you.
This is the thing that pisses me off most in BF2.
About a week ago, me and 2 others were guarding a flag, and I was an AT soldier. A tank rolled up, I used my 2 last rockets to get him smoking, and started shouting for ammo. I see the ammo icon in my map, run over to the guy, and request ammo. This idiot doesn't help me, but just keeps running around the area, doing nothing useful. I say in teamsay "Dude, please give me an ammo bag so I can take out the tank" - but to no avail.
I give him a pistol shot to the legs, to call his attention. He turns around, looks at me, and I request ammo another 2-3 times. He turns his back to me again, and keeps running around like a headless chicken. I give him another shot to the leg, at which point he turns around and wastes me with his PKM.
And yesterday, I was in a buggy which only had 3-4 bars of health left, so I shouted for repairs. An icon lights up on the map, I drive over to him, and request repairs again. As I drive up to this person, he jumps into the buggy without repairing it. I shout for repairs a couple of times, but this moron is just sitting in the damaged buggy with his wrench appaerently jammed far up his arse. I drive the buggy a few meters so that we're facing a solid wall of mountaint (this way he doesn't have anything to fire at), and shout for Repairs again. The guy still just sits there in my smoking buggy. I type in Teamsay: "Hey dude, please use your wrench and fix the buggy". No reaction.
After a minute of just sitting there, he jumps out, and I think "What? Did his brain finally start working?". But noooo, after jumping out, he runs away. I shout for repairs again, he doesn't react - so I exit my vehicle and hits his back of the head with a guided rocket. I picked up his kit, and fixed my vehicle myself.
How can people be this stupid? It gives them points, it helps their team, it increases his chance of surviving the buggy ride, plus it'd make me happy.
I really hate teamkillers, but sometimes imo it's justified. Pure stupidity deserves nothing but a bullet to the head
That being said, these are the only 2 times I've deliberately teamkilled after about 70 hours of BF2.
Now, what would YOU do in the situations like above?
