yea but i am coustomizing mine so it doesnt look like everone elses.... all the medals are in a clump, if you change it to false, it will give you only the medals that you have yet, i have the problem of not being able to separate them into individual ones...
How do YOU react when people doesn't help you?

Disagree. One or two team members should be protecting the home base. A commander doing his job will be hidden away somewhere in map mode almost all the time. And will play sniper to prevent from being assasinated so easily (with claymores). This is assuming 32 vs 32 where the extra help of the commander on the field is negligible versus well placed artillery strikes, UAV placements, and pointing out snipers, armor, etc. I've racked up 45+ kills in a round as commander with artillery (not on Karkland) so I know a bit about it.Originally posted by BerrernSupply drops for repairing Commander assets should only be used in extreme emergencies. You should be an Engineer yourself as a Commander, or order a Squad to repair them for you.
Supply drops are needed in the field, please use them for that!
I hope patch 1.3 removes the supply crates ability to repair commander assets.
Having the commander run around the field and duel with an enemy Spec Ops will almost certainly result in the commander dying. Whether engineer or sniper, neither stands much a chance against spec ops. Each commander death is costly in terms of delayed artillery strikes, scanning, and UAV placement.
PS - I agree that game should not allow commander asssets to be repaired with supply drop. Lessens the value of Spec Ops and Engineers.Comment

You are either confusing me with someone else or you have falsified the details. In the scenario I described, the person made no squad "Need supply drop at this location" request. Requesting ammo and requesting a supply drop I think we can agree are distinct actions.Originally posted by Flatline_hunSo, again:
- I was a squad leader (squad named PANZER),
- "all their base are belonged to us"
- I requested supply as a squad leader (at least 10 times)
- I didn't get ammo for 10 minutes
- our UAV, aradar, and artillery was ok
- we had no support player at all. (i know, 'cos when i requested ammo, noone showed up on the minimap)
- and again, I captured all flags and i was in a TANK. Do you know what does it mean
when a tank runs out of ammo? At least 5-8 enemy armors down.
volkl: is that clear now, that why we lost the battle? I was the only one fighting real hard.Comment

Artillery doesn't win games. I use it ALOT less than i used too. I only use it when an enemy is capping a flag when no other team mates are there. As for the supply drops, i have had the situation of my stuff being blow up, then some one ask for supplies, so i gave the supplies the the person wanting it. To me, sending a supply drop to my men are more important than sending them to fix my stuff esp. artillery, that can come after, as it doesn't help the guy who could be low on health and witout ammo.
edit:
Last night, i was playing and i wanted to be in the action instead of being a commander. Most of the game we were without one, and the other team had a decent one by th looks of it. We did win quite a few games though. Then we get a commander, i think great! I asked for supply drops. Nothing. I ask for UAV. Nothing. SO i then start placing supply and UAV and Arty requests all over to see if he would react. But nothing came! He did not use ANY of his commader equiptment at all!! I tried mutiny a few times too, told everyone to vote yes. He then got into a chopper, so i take my tank over and shot the heli, he soon got out of it lol, but still never used any of his things. Eventually he left.Comment

Excuse me, i thought you "ironically" told the other side of MY story. And I agree you, in the above mentioned case i've done both (cos if you request ammo, minimap shows all support players, so you can actively go ahead of them.)
Sorry for the confusion.Comment

As a Support guy it is my duty to keep the ammo flowing, even if it means sacrificing myself to get my team mate the ammo he so badly needs.
Unfortunately, some players (most are probably new to the game) don’t understand the concept of being Support, don’t know what to do or just want the big gun…Comment

I play medic. I always hand out med packs when I see a need, and often when I don't.
Why? To help my team and get points.
If someone is a medic/engy/support and they don't help you, they are just newbies (or idiots) who don't understand the game. By not helping you they lose easy points, so to TK them is just idiotic, they are already harming themselves anyway, if you see what I mean.
Another thing, often when I am running around (usually in a squad) I hear 'I need a medic', if the person calling for help is nearby, easy to get to and not too far off my route I will go and help (for the team, and for the easy points, duh).
But I am not prepared to go off on a 60 second detour in the wrong direction from eg my squad objective to help someone who is probably dead by the time I get there anyway.
So, peeps, think before you go off and get mad. Maybe you just need to look at things from the other guys perspective sometimes. :)Comment

Ive been playing with a clan who knew their **** and still wouldnt heal or re-supply me. It bugs me when Im a medic and get killed and no one swaps kits to revive me. Ok, this may be a tactic that new players arent familiar with, but in the case of the clan I mentioned above, it should be utilised.Comment

Not sure of your basis for saying that. Each death by artillery takes one ticket away from the enemy as sure as if they were shot by ground troops. I've seen plenty of games where the margin of victory in tickets is less than the number of deaths inflicted by artillery (even when subtracting friendly fire). On maps where people die 95% of the time before using half their ammo, supply drops are far more valuable to repair artillery (and in most cases UAV). Not to mention that some people should be playing support to conserve supply drops for critical situations only. A tank on the frontline kicking ass, out of ammo, and in need of repairs qualifies.Originally posted by defaultArtillery doesn't win games. I use it ALOT less than i used too.
