Had to regisiter just to say thank you to drivie. One of my clanmates developed the same problem in the last couple of days, and that solution was what was needed.

Cool man...but I didn't really come up with the solution, I just posted here what I had read in another thread. At any rate, I'm really glad it helped someone.

Not to get to OT here but does anyone else find the volume of iissues related to running BF2 strange? I've never had these kinds of problems with any previous game. This game is so darned picky, some people have to change and tweak everything in order to play for more than an hour at a time...and for some, it's a lost cause. Is it really poor coding work on the part of the developer or does this game stress a system so much that it really exposes the tiny flaws?
