or maybe you havent seen the latest military technology? Why is it that everyone against me just calls me "brainwashed." Im "brainwashed" to support our troops in iraq. Im "brainwashed" to think that people in the world hate america. Im "brainwashed" to think that the US military has good technology. I mention the word "laser" or "area 51" or "skunkworks" or "secret technology" and people think Im saying the military can take out the world. Can it take over the world without nukes? No. If it used nukes there wouldnt be any world left taking over. And it doesnt plan too, so its not going to build up a military designed for that. I bet those chinese would use their nukes in a heartbeat if we were to goto war with them, as that one chinese general said. And we're not talking nukes here. But I am saying our navy/airforce can fight off an invasion pretty well. mail call on the history channel 10pm est on fridays. No BS, no "brainwashing" propaganda, just the straight facts, then you can make your own opinions on how strong the military is.

well, the infantry can lock on at a mile away, the army just needs to spot the tank with its unmanned vehicles, or the old fashioned way. A lot easier for the infantry to spot a tank than the tank to spot infantry a mile away covered in brush. Plus its fire and forget. If the tank sees the missle fire, take cover immediately. And thats cool about the lasers. What is the name of that gun that uses centrifugral force to silently shoot metal balls at 8000 fps without and sound or recoil? Looks like the ship on startrek.

I know theres a gun that consists of many tubes aranged in a block that electronically shoots bullets that are lined up nose to end in the tubes. Its outrageous...the ammount of firepower is amazing. Its called metal storm or something. All the bullets fire so fact its just a continuous buzzing sound.

remember, one metal storm do not win the battle, for fighters will bomb the crap out of you. Chinese has 6000 something crappy bombers, enough to take on infantry, and kills faster than metal storm.

be realstic, there are only so much equipment and infantry (around 20000) an amphibious assualt may bring, mind you, those things against the whole Chinese war machine? heh.

thats all great and dandy showing off the numbers and the training of thier military but it means nothing. Theres plenty of those kind of pictures of the iraqi republican guard like that, with their t72s, all marching in line with perfect coordination and whatnot. But when it came down to conventional warfare, we kicked their asses in 2 weeks with minimal casualties on our side. I know those guys arent iraqi republican guard. I would say 2nd strongest military in the world :)

btw, we didnt have to kill all the japanese or germans to win the war, we didnt have to take over or liberate their country, just beat their military. Same goes for china. The war would probably be them declaring on us in the far future over being the worlds biggest superpower, and by that time our missle defense system will be pretty good.

AWACS and anti-stealth radar, also F22 cannot be depolyed to Chinese in time. speaking of which, J-10 is rumored to be SOMEWHAT stealthy, and you can buy 20 J10 with one F22's cost.

problem with that weapon is size and logistics. i believe 5.56 minigun will be a much better AI (anti infantry weapoN)
