    I hate the BH.

I am really miffed at how hearty it is, especially since I play AT a lot. I'm not sure if it was proposed or not, since I usually avoid the BH topics... But I think the ammo should be limited to say 1000 round on the miniguns. All other aircraft have to go back to the helipad/airstrip to get repaired/rearmed, I don't understand why the BH is exempt. Having limited ammo on that beast, should deter the constant capping of points since after awhile it will become defenseless.

Also, an engineer cannot repair an APC when he is a passanger, I don't understand the logic of being able to do in the BH. It has to be a bug or severe oversight.

for a blacjhawk you don't need an AT weapon, best way to take it down is a machinegun on a jeep or something, then they go down in no time, this is the weak point of the blackhawk and you should use it.

Nothing feels better then taking down a blackhawk with 5 people in it

None of the other Transport helicopters have limits on their ammo, Only attack helicopters which have guns more powerful than the BH.

An engineer as a passenger in an APC is holding a vehicle weapon, not his own stash. You'll find any transport you can heal, even the jeeps if your an engineer sitting at the utmost rear part of the jeep.

A hit to the tail will not nessasarily bring down a Blackhawk (i think) in real life nor should it in this game. Maybe one direct hit to the rotor but not the entire tail would be enough.

IRL a hit by an RPG would cause serious damage if it hit the fuselage and possibly blow the chopper up, a hit anywhere would destabilise the chopper and throw it off spining into the ground or something and a hit in the tail will considrebly screw the yaw, but IRL soldiers cannot insta repair an RPG hole in the tail by holding a cresent wrench out in the troop compartment for a few seconds.

Choppers need to be FRAGILE. They should take pilot skill and thought to use, as in hide in a valley, don't approach an area unless you have the initiative. When you're flaring out, that means you're in too hot a zone and need to cool off, reapproahc. They aren't used like arial tanks by anyone I know of, except in BF.

For crying out loud where is there room for *thinking* and tactics in this game!

let me get this straight, missiles designed to take out a tank with massive armor aren't strong enough to take out a helo (which should be a lot weaker than a tank)?? something sounds very wrong there. this is more based on real life than the game, but it just goes to show how ****ed up this game is.

With AT weapons, aim for the cockpit and knock out the pilot, or the sides to knock out the engineers first, dont just hit the body it wont do enough damage. Best way, fire an AT weapon then hop in a transport and use the MG to take it down. I think the BH's should be toned down just a lil, so that only skilled pilots can make good use out of them, instead of any ol newb

enjoy it, 1.03 will nerf the blackhawk for good.

has anybody ever taken down a jet with the stingers - I know that I've damaged a few, but I can't recall ever blowing one out of the sky.
The ground troops need better protection from the jets IE the abillity to take them down not just annoy them with the radar lock buzz, and reduce the armor on the transports by 50%

Ive been killed in jets by Stingers and IGLAs. Usually it takes 3-4 AA positions (and a lotta luck) lighting me up and firing to bring me down when I am trying to dodge.

Sometimes a single guy will get lucky or I will just get lazy and not dodge in time.

With a 20 second respawn on the jet, who cares?

AA is a joke in BF2. Choppers and Jets are subsequently overpowered. A good bomber pilot shouldnt be able to stop a team in its tracks, but it often happens that way.

SO you're saying 1 lonewolf AT guy should easily bring down a proper crew of 6 players with correct kits? Sure they're annoying. Options: Get lucky/skillful and hit the crew compartment, get some friends to play AT and ambush it with you, leave server
